Recapping the 2021 March Madness Tournament
The NCAA Basketball Tournament is one of the most-watched annual sporting events in the United States. Back in 2020, this event was famously canceled at the last minute. It was a huge disappointment for basketball enthusiasts around the country.
Event organizers worked hard to ensure that this tournament would take place this year. Fans flocked to different online sports betting sites to make their predictions on how the games would play out. There were some clear favorites to win, yet some felt an underdog team would pull out the win.
On March 18, it finally began. Some of the tournament’s powerhouse teams quickly separated themselves from the pack. Gonzaga, Colorado, and Baylor all dominated through the early rounds. Odds on the tournament’s winners shifted as these games went on.
The Final Four consisted of Gonzaga vs. UCLA, and Baylor vs. Houston. Gonzaga and Baylor found themselves in the Finals on April 5. In what ended up being a slight upset, Baylor maintained a steady lead over Gonzaga to earn their first NCAA Championship.
This tournament was loaded with action from start to finish. A huge number of fans took part in online bracket challenges and were on the edge of their seat leading into the championship game. Many of these fans used TheSportsGeek’s one-of-a-kind March Madness bracket.
With the event now over, our bracket challenge winners are being announced. Here’s a look at some of the prizes being handed out.

For the first time ever, TheSportsGeek held its own online NCAA bracket challenge in 2021. More than $1,300 is being handed out in cash prizes and gift cards. Several players managed to bring home $350 in cash thanks to their correct picks. That’s not bad when considering this bracket was completely free to take part in!
This ended up being a thrilling bracket challenge from start to finish. It won’t be the last, either. Next year’s March Madness tournament is expected to be even more exciting and you can bet that we’ll be offering a fantastic 2022 NCAA online bracket challenge for our fans.

Breaking Down the 2021 NBA Championship Odds
March Madness always ends up being a true sporting spectacle around the country. Millions of people tune in to see which college team manages to earn the championship. Even with the unusual circumstances surrounding this year’s tournament, it was a highly entertaining event from start to finish.
Basketball fans are now looking ahead to the 2021 NBA postseason. We’ve seen some big games take place over the past few months and the playoffs are now just over a month away. Many are heading over to Bovada to make their bets on which team will come out as the champion.
At the moment, the Brooklyn Nets are the current favorites to win the 2021 NBA Championship with odds of +225. The team is 36-16 thus far into the season and has one of the most well-rounded rosters in the NBA. It wouldn’t be a shock to see Brooklyn earn the trophy this year.
The Los Angeles Lakers come in as the second-betting-favorite with odds of +330. Lebron James is still going strong and may lead the team to yet another championship. Fans in LA are certainly hoping that’s the case.
Looking for an underdog pick? Considering going with the Philadelphia 76ers. This team is now ranked second in the Eastern Conference and has a solid roster of elite players. At +1300, a wager on the 76ers could end up paying off in a big way.
