Bengals Falcons Spread Line and Predictions Week 7 NFL

The Bengals will travel to Atlanta trying to get things corrected after a not so great start to the season. The Bengals went into their bye week with a record of 2-3, a record which they think should be better. They have underachieved on Offense and the Defense has been just average for the most part. The Bengals will have to get better in order to compete in the highly competitive AFC North. As for the Falcons, they have not been very great either, but the consistency is lacking, I’m not seeing games where they are playing well all four quarters. This team has been very sloppy especially on Offense and yet they are still 4-2. The Falcons will have to get things rolling quickly because they won’t be able to continue winning if they can’t play 60 minutes of football. Game is set to start at 1:00 PM EST.

The Bengals have had some time to think about their record, performance, and upcoming schedule and that should reflect well in the win column during the second half of the season. The Bengals have to get something going and quickly or a team with so much promise may not even advance to the playoffs. Carson Palmer has quickly gone from “Elite” status to an average QB and with the weapons at his disposal this season he has to start making plays. The Defense still has one of the best CB tandems in the league and while the Pass Defense has been ok, it could get better if the Bengals defensive line which can’t stop the run very well either, could get some pressure on the QB. The Bengals have a chance to win this game though and it will most likely have to be a shootout, all the pieces are there for the Bengals to win this game.

The Falcons got beat up pretty badly by the Falcons last week and Desean Jackson only played about one quarter. The Falcons may be without their best cover corner in Dunta Robinson and could be in trouble against a WR core like the Bengals. Luckily for the Falcons they have one of the top Running Backs in the league and Turner should be able to run for over a 100 yards easy in this one. The Falcons will have to get a lead early and run the ball in attempt to keep the Offense of the Bengals off the field. The good thing is Matt Ryan plays a lot better at home than he does on the road and that should benefit him. There is a good chance Roddy White may be covered very closely by the Bengals secondary so Matt may have to find other places to go with the football.

Bengals vs Falcons Prediction for Week 7 Betting:

Spread Prediction (Top Play): The Bengals coming off of a bye week should be a team on a mission and I think they want to make a statement this week. The Falcons need to continue winning as well though because the Saints are still the defending Super Bowl Champions and could make a run for the division title again. The Falcons are 2-2 as a favorite this season and the Bengals are 1-2 on the road. There really isn’t much to go off of her, but the Bengals have had two weeks to prepare for their opponent and you have to think they are going to come out with a fight because they can’t fall to 2-4 on the season. The Falcons have a lot to play for as well and they are at home, but my guess Matty Ice isn’t going to deliver this time and if he does considering how the Falcons have been playing I doubt it will be by more than three.

Top Play Prediction: Bengals +3.5

Game Total Prediction: With two Offenses with this much potential, it should be a shootout. The problem is both Offenses are underachieving drastically. The Falcons are without their top Corner and if there ever was a time when they needed him it would be this week. The Bengals passing game has been pretty good, but should have a field day against this defense. As for the Falcons the key is to run with Turner and you just know White is going to score at least one touchdown this week. The Defenses have been a point of emphasis for both teams thus far, but there is just too much talent offensively in this game for it not to be the shootout everyone is probably expecting and playing in a dome means weather will not play any factor. There are those games where they say winner will be the team who gets the ball last, this is one of those games.

Prediction: Over 42.5
