The NFL is set up with another great set of action throughout Week 13. Twelve games will be up on the board throughout Sunday. One of these matchups will be between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons. These two teams have had opposite seasons, but will look for a big win in this one. This game will kick off at around 1:00 PM Eastern time.
Tampa Bay has earned a record of 8-3 to start out this season, which has them in the top spot of the NFC South. The Buccaneers are coming off back to back wins and will look to keep it going. Tampa Bay is coming off a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The Buccaneers were able to rally from behind to earn a 38-31 win.
The Falcons have put up a record of 5-6 throughout the season, which has them in second place of the NFC South. Atlanta earned a win in their last game, which ended a two game losing streak. The Falcons met up with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12. Atlanta was able to hold on late to earn a 21-14 win on the road.
These two teams are on opposite sides of the standings, but will look for a big win in this division rivalry. The Buccaneers are coming into this game back on a roll and will look to keep it going. Atlanta earned a win in their last matchup as well. If either team can grab an early lead in this one, it could be enough for the win on Sunday.

Buccaneers vs. Falcons NFL Game Preview
The Buccaneers and Falcons met up back in Week 2 of this season. Cordarrelle Patterson had two touchdowns in the first matchup for Atlanta, but it was not enough. Tom Brady had five touchdown passes, including two to Rob Gronkowski and Mike Evans. Mike Edwards had two interception return touchdowns as Tampa Bay dominated for a 48-25 win.
These two teams have met up 56 times throughout their histories. Both teams have split those games, earning a 28-28 record. Tampa Bay has won three in a row and four of the last five games against the Falcons. The Buccaneers will look to remain hot with a big win on Sunday afternoon. Atlanta will look to break through with an upset win.
Both teams look pretty close to the same as when they met up in Week 2. Tom Brady and Matt Ryan will both likely start at Quarterback. The Buccaneers defense has struggled a bit in the last couple of weeks and Atlanta will look to take advantage. If the Falcons offense can get going early, I think they can keep this game close.
Bucs have played without Antonio Brown for weeks and weren’t expecting him Sunday, so his suspension won’t change things on the field. Mike Edwards has been the team’s nickel corner, so expect Ross Cockrell back in that role vs. Falcons.

Opening Odds and Line Movement
The spread for this game opened up at -4 ½ in favor of the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay reached as high as -11 ½ before it dropped to an 11 point spread.
The over/ under for Sunday’s tilt between Atlanta and Tampa Bay started at 52 points. The total has dropped down to 51 points with a couple days before kickoff.
The spread for this game has jumped a lot given the Buccaneers come back win last week. This is still a lot of points to lay going into a divisional matchup. Atlanta is at home as well and will be looking for a big win.

Free Bet and Game Prediction: Atlanta Falcons +11 (-110)
The Buccaneers have been the much better team throughout this season and will look for a big win in this one. Tampa Bay has had the better overall team this season and will look to grab another dominant win. Atlanta has been up and down though and will look to carry momentum in from their Week 12 win. I expect the Falcons to keep this game closer than Week 2’s loss.
Tom Brady has been great throughout this season with Tampa Bay. Brady has passed for 3403 yards, 30 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on the season. He also has a rushing touchdown. Matt Ryan has struggled a bit on the season. Ryan has thrown for 2617 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Ryan will look to step up in this one though.
The spread for this game is really big, especially with Atlanta being at home. Laying more than 10 points in a divisional game is a lot and I think that the Falcons will cover this spread. Atlanta has picked up their play a bit down the stretch and I expect them to build off last week’s win. As huge underdogs in this one, I really like the Falcons on Sunday.
