Arrowhead Stadium is going to be wild this Sunday in a game that if they win could vault them back into first place or if they lose could leave them in second place and very vulnerable with a surging Chargers team that could start their second half turnaround like they always do. I will just suffice it to say that the Chiefs need to win this game. As for the Cardinals, they have to be regretting the decision to get rid of Leinart especially at this point of the season considering they would most definitely be better off right now. Luckily for the Cardinals they are in a winnable division and can take a step in the right direction if they can just somehow find a way to get a win this week.

The Cardinals have not progressed in any way during the season and may have even regressed if that is even possible. This Cardinals team could be just a quarterback away from a playoff season, but the lack of one really affects what they can or can’t do on offense. Currently the Cardinals are 24th in points per game and rank 31st in total offense. I don’t know how the Cardinals will get this corrected, but they must do something quickly because it is clear Derek Anderson or Max Hall is not the answer for this franchise maybe it’s time to give the other rookie John Skelton a shot and see what he can do. On defense they are no better they give up the most points in the NFL. Kansas City is weak in the secondary and the Cardinals do have Fitzgerald and some other pieces, but without a QB to get them the ball, I don’t know how effective they will be.
Kansas City couldn’t have asked the schedule makers for an easier game after a tough loss to the Broncos in which they got embarrassed. The Chiefs are the best rushing team in the NFL and I’m sure they will like to show their dominance in the run game to the Cardinals front seven. Matt Cassel has the easiest job in the NFL because all he has to do is hand the ball off almost every play and when he does pass he almost always targets Dwayne Bowe who is a having a pretty great year. The Chiefs also play pretty good defense and will look to shut down everything that the Cardinals do and will certainly double team Fitzgerald all game. The only thing Kansas City can’t do is overlook them because that will get you beat every time. The Chiefs are the more talented and this could be over by halftime.

Cardinals vs Chiefs Prediction for Week Eleven Betting:
Spread Prediction (Top Play): Kansas City is 3-1 ATS this season at home and should make that 4-1 this week. I don’t see how the Cardinals can hang around in this game even enough to keep it close. The Cardinals are not healthy and Beanie Wells is likely to miss another game and one of their offensive linemen is likely going to be out and their line hasn’t been good at all so I would hate to see what their depth at the position is like. Kansas City has two great running backs I Jones and Charles and they complement each other very well and the Cardinals have clearly had trouble stopping it. If the Chiefs don’t turn over the ball 5 times they should easily cover this. I really like the Chiefs.
Game Total Prediction: The Chiefs are 5-4 on the Over/Under so this one will be harder to predict. There are games when the Chiefs come out flat and other weeks when they look like the best offense in the league. I am not really going to depend on the Cardinals to put up lots of points and I really don’t see the Chiefs as the type of team to continue to score in the 4th quarter when the game should be out of reach. I like the Chiefs to put up some points early and then run the ball continuously since that is what they are the best at. I can’t see the Cardinals being too productive.
