Qwest Field is the stadium this game will be held in and home of one of the best twelfth men in the league. Don’t get it confused this stadium gets loud and the players love it. The Cardinals won’t like it too much tough especially since they have to take their undrafted rookie free agent QB into such a hostile environment in the second start of his career. Pete Carroll though is loving the Seahawks this season, a lot of people myself included expected a garbage Seahawks team to be potentially winless at this point in the season, but not only are they winning, they are giving themselves a show at the division, only in the NFC West. A divisional game always has a lot riding on it and this one is no different. Game is set to start at 4:05 EST.

The Cardinals still have a ton of problems but, they feel as if they answered the biggest one and identified themselves a QB of the future in Max Hall. In his career start he led his team to a defeat over the Saints and will look to do the same against Seattle. Offensively, the Cardinals know they have to run the ball to protect their young QB and they must run it effectively, while having Fitzgerald on the outside catching passes Hall must have time to throw and the Offensive line has to do a better job of blocking in order for him to do so. The Seahawks can be beaten through the air but, in order for that to matter they have to establish a presence in the run game even though it may be difficult. On Defense just keep making plays, like they did against the Saints points off turnovers will be huge.
Seattle at home is tough to beat and unlike the Cardinals they have a little bit more experience at the QB position which is vital. Hasselbeck whom is a veteran understands he cannot turn the ball over in order to give his team a chance to win and since Mike Williams re emergence as the teams number one receiver he has a target to throw the ball to. The Cardinals Defense is terrible so with the acquisition of Marshawn Lynch they need to give him some carries so he can just slash through that Defense. It shouldn’t be too difficult to win this game especially at home. The Seahawks are clearly the better team here and their Defense should be able to force the young rookie QB into a couple mistakes and ultimately put the game away. The Seahawks have the stifling run defense to turn the Cardinals one dimensional.

Cardinals vs Seahawks Prediction for Week 7 Betting:
Spread Prediction (Top Play): Arizona is 2-0 ATS when playing in Seattle over the last three seasons, but take into account that Kurt Warner has been at QB both of those times and there is a significant difference between Kurt Warner and Max Hall. The fact is that these teams have changed dramatically and right now the Seahawks are the better team. I cannot bring myself to trust a rookie QB making his second career start on the road, especially when his first performance was nothing to speak off and it’s incredible they even won that game. Hasselbeck has proven he can win and has led his team to a Super Bowl and has the Seahawks looking decent and a lot better than they should and their Defense is a lot better than it’s getting credit for, I like the Seahawks in a game that could get out of hand.
Game Total: Neither one of these teams truly scare me in terms of Offense, but 40 points really isn’t that much in an NFL game. Games in the last three seasons are Under 2 of 2 times telling me these teams don’t exactly put up points in bunches. If I had to pick I like the Under especially because I don’t feel as if the Cardinals will be able to sustain long drives and the Seahawks have struggled in that department as well this season. The Cardinals have some pieces, but it is hard to trust a QB who hasn’t really proven anything yet and he may be in for a rude awakening against the Seahawks Defense that will make him look like an undrafted free agent rookie QB that he is. I do believe the Seahawks Offense will move, but I believe it will be mostly a field position game and then just a matter of running the clock out for Seattle.
