Arizona Cardinals vs Cleveland Browns NFL Pick – Week 6

The NFL is set up with another great slate of action throughout Week 6. Twelve games will be up on the board throughout Sunday. One of these matchups will be between the Arizona Cardinals and the Cleveland Browns. These two teams have been strong this season and will look for a big win in this one. This game will kick off at around 4:05 PM Eastern time.

Arizona has earned a record of 5-0 to open up this season, which has them in first place of the NFL standings. The Cardinals are coming off a big win against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. Kyler Murray had a late passing touchdown for Arizona. This was enough to lift the Cardinals to a 17-10 win at home.

The Browns have put up a record of 3-2 so far this season, which has them sitting in a tie for second place of the AFC North. Cleveland is coming off a tough loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Browns were able to score 42 points on the afternoon, but could not stop Los Angeles. The Chargers scored a winning drive late in the fourth to earn a 47-42 win at home.

These two teams look like postseason teams early in the season and will look for a big win in this one. The Cardinals are the last remaining undefeated team and will look to keep it going. Cleveland is coming off a tough loss and everyone is wondering if they can close out top teams. The Browns will look to put up a statement win at home in Week 6.

Cardinals vs. Browns NFL Game Preview

These two teams last met up in Week 15 in the 2019 season. Baker Mayfield had two passing touchdowns to Ricky Seals-Jones, but it was not enough for the win. Kenyan Drake had four rushing touchdowns, while Kyler Murray had a touchdown pass. The Cardinals were able to dominate for a big 38-24 matchup in this one.

The Cardinals and Browns have met up 51 times throughout their histories. Cleveland leads the all-time series with a record of 33-15-3 throughout those matchups. Arizona has won their last four games against the Browns though. Cleveland will look to earn a big bounce back performance in Week 6 as they try to knock off the Cardinals for the first time since 2003.

The last time these two teams met up was only two seasons ago and not much has changed on either team. Arizona still has Kyler Murray as their starting Quarterback, while the Browns still have Baker Mayfield under center. If either Quarterback can control the pace of play on Sunday, it could be enough for the win in Week 6.

Opening Odds and Line Movement

The spread for this matchup started at -3 in favor of the Cleveland Browns. This line has dipped down to -3 ½ only a couple of days before kickoff.

The over/ under for this game is listed at 53 ½ points to open up the week. The total is now down to 49 ½ points. I think that the drop in the total came from Arizona’s lower scoring affair in Week 5. The Browns will also look to bounce back on defense in this one.

The spread for this matchup is odd at first glance with the 5-0 Cardinals listed as underdogs. I think that this line makes sense though with Arizona having to travel all the way to Cleveland and take on an angry Browns team on Sunday afternoon.

Free Bet and Game Prediction: Cleveland Browns -3 ½ (-105)

These two teams have been off to strong starts this season, but Arizona has surprised everyone with their 5-0 start. Cleveland is coming off a tough loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, which saw them score 42 points and lose. I think that the Browns will come out much hotter in this one as they are back at home. If Cleveland can control the pace with the run game, I think they will hand the Cardinals a loss.

Baker Mayfield has been off to a solid start on this season. Mayfield has passed for 1240 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. Mayfield has also rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown. Kyler Murray has thrown for 1512 yards, 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. Murray has rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns.

These two teams have very strong offenses and it should lead to an exciting matchup in this one. The Browns have the league best run game though and will have a chance to control the pace of this game with the rushing attack. Cleveland’s defense struggled to get a stop last week, but I expect them to tighten up in this one. As only slight favorites at home, I really like the value on the Browns.

The Bet
Cleveland Browns -3.5
-105
