Draft Kings NFL Week 15 Value Picks

Hey guys I’m back for the second time this week to provide you some high upside salary relief for your Draft Kings line ups. Leveon Bell and David Johnson take up an incredible amount of salary this week $19,900 to be exact, which equates for nearly 40% of your salary cap. With those guys taking up so much salary on your cash line ups, its imperative that you roster high volume position players around them. This article will focus mainly on value plays for cash games (50/50’s, double ups, or H2H). As always make sure you’re following me on twitter for my most up to date thoughts on my DFS plays. Because as we all know things can change in the blink of an eye. Lets get to the DK value plays for week 15.

DEN – Trevor Siemian ($ 5200) – Siemian is not a guy that typically crosses your mind when thinking about DFS roster construction. Well, Siemian is almost min price at home against a team that just got torched for 324 yards at home by Joe Flacco. Siemian is averaging over 24 DK points, 350 yards, and has thrown 4 TD’s in his last two starts. The Broncos are at home this week against the Patriots who have struggled to rush the QB all year long and it seems Siemian has started to click with his 2 pro bowl wide receivers.

Running Backs

I really wanted to write up Yeldon this week, but it looks like Ivory will suit up which will cut into Yeldons production potential.

BAL – Kenneth Dixon ($ 3800) – Ive touched on this topic before, but DK sets their next week pricing on Sunday night. Meaning if a player gets injuried, or in this instance a new starter emerges his price is way to low for the following week. Dixon looks like he has emerged as the starter in Baltimore ahead of Terrance West. The rookie running back out of Louisiana Tech looked good on Monday night securing 8 catches for 42 yards and a TD. Dixon has seen 4 plus targets in 3 straight, and I expect his workload to continue this week.

SD – Kenneth Farrow – ($ 4400) – It seems this year every week there is a major injury that opens up value for us the following week. That’s exactly what seems to have happened with Melvin Gordon injuring himself in the first quarter against the Panthers. Farrow took over for Gordon and produced a very favorable stat of 16 – 55yds, and pulling in all 6 targets for 23 yards. These Raider v Chargers game tend to shoot out with the last game total being 65 points, with the Raiders winning 34-31.

Wide Receivers

JAX – Allen Robinson ($ 4400) – This game on Sunday features the 2 biggest fantasy disappoints of the season Arob and Hopkins. But this doesnt mean ARob is to go overlooked when his price has dropped near 4k since the start of the season. Robinson torched the Texans last time they played for 9-107-1. Yes its a concern that some the targets are now being soaked up by Lee, but I think ARob is still one of Bortles favorite Targets. The Texans defense without Watt hasnt been what it was supposed to be. The Jags are nearly a TD underdog, which means Bortles will be dropping back to pass a minimum of 30 times.

ATL – Aldrick Robinson ($ 3400) – The Atl wide receiver was a victim to game flow last week, with the Falcons jumping out to a monster lead in the first quarter. That could very well happen again this week, which is why you should consider playing Jeremy Kerley who is the same price this week. The only way the Falcons get up big again is by putting up points and you cant expect a defense to give you 21 points in back to back weeks. I know you may be saying Ryan the Falcons D only scored two TDs, well they also recovered a fumble inside the opponents 10. Robinson will take over the Julio role this week once again, and I expect him to see a Julio (ish) amount of targets about 6-9 which could allow him to pay off that salary to the tune of 3-4x points per $1000.

These are a few of my favorite value defenses of the week.

Baltimore ($ 3100) – Yes I know its not much of a value defense. It is around the 10th most expensive defense, and the Ravens are at home facing a rookie QB and a team who struggles to run the ball.

Oakland ($ 2700) – This is a play based on the defensive end of the Raiders, Khalil Mack. Mack has been a terrorizer and game changer the past few weeks. I expect this game to be a bit a of a shootout which means the gun slinger Rivers will be dropping back often. When a team is throwing the ball a lot can happen for the defense Pick six’s, sack strips, and if a sack strip happens it can also to a scoop and score.

Best of luck this week guys!
