QB: Drew Brees: (7,600) Plain and simple, Brees is a completely different player when he is competing at home in The Superdome. This season at home Brees is averaging 30.9 DK points a game which is 10.5 more points than what he averages on the road. He just recently just ripped apart a respectable Rams defense this past Sunday, throwing for 310 yards and four touchdowns. (36.5 DK points)
This week he should could continue his home dominance against The Lions who rank 28th vs QBs this season. This game has the potential to be one of biggest shoot-outs of the year, with an extremely high total of 53.5 points. The Saints are tied for the highest team total of the week at 29.5 points and Brees should easily throw for at least 300 yards and three TDs in this game. There is no QB in a better spot than him this week and he is an excellent play in all formats.
RB: Le’Veon Bell: (9,200) Even though Bell is the second highest priced player of the week at $9,200, he is still underpriced when considering how good he has been lately. Over the last three weeks he is averaging 32.9 DK points, on an insane 29.6 touches per game. He rarely misses a play seeing 95% of the offensive snaps this year and touching the ball 43.7% of the time he is on the field. He didn’t score a TD in his first five games of the season, but has now scored in three consecutive games and is being used 55% of the time when The Steelers are in the red zone.
The combination of Bell’s talent and this volume makes him almost a must roster every week. In Week 13, he takes on The Giants (18th vs RBs since Week 9) at home, with The Steelers projected to score 28 points, which is the third highest team total of the week. This week it is going to be very difficult to decide whether to roster Bell or David Johnson. I am leaning towards Bell with Johnson dealing with a dislocated finger, being a part of a lower team total, and coming in at more expensive price tag. Both players are strong plays, but with all this considered Bell is my number #1 overall play of the week.
WR: Tyreek Hill: (4,600) Hill was unbelievable in Sunday night’s overtime win over The Broncos, and is going to be a primary weapon in the Chiefs’ offense going forward, even when WR Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) returns. Against this Broncos’ secondary which is the best unit in The NFL, Hill caught nine of his 10 targets for 52 yards and a TD. He also returned a punt for a TD in the second quarter and rushed in another TD on his only carry of the game. (32.5 DK points) He was unstoppable on Sunday night, and it is clear The Chiefs need to get the ball into his hands as much as possible going forward.
Even before his stunning performance against The Broncos, he had been very solid filling in for Maclin, averaging 15 DK points a game. This Sunday, Hill and The Chiefs head to Atlanta to take on The Falcons, who have really struggled lately allowing 46.9 DK points a game to opposing WRs since Week 9. I don’t expect Maclin to return this week, but even if he does play, Hill will still be very involved and a play full complement of snaps vs The Falcons. Even though he will be a very popular play this week, he is a must have at only $4,600 on DraftKings.
TE: Eric Ebron: (3,900) Ebron burned everyone last week not catching a single pass vs The Vikings on Thanksgiving Day. But he cannot be ignored this week, with this Saints Lions game having one of the highest totals we have seen all year at 53.5 points. Going into to last week Ebron was playing his best football of the year, averaging 15.7 DK points in his last three games. He has been a consistent part of this offense all season seeing at least five targets in every game outside of his Thanksgiving Day shocker.
By the numbers this is an average matchup for him with The Saints ranking 17th vs TEs, but I don’t see how he doesn’t rebound this week in this elite game environment. At his cheap $3,900 salary he only needs a few catches to return value, and also has the upside to be one of the highest scoring TEs of the week. If you want to be a successful DFS player you can’t hold grudges against players who have cost you money in the past. Swallow your pride and play Ebron, as he is the best value at TE in Week 13.

RB: David Johnson, Doug Martin, Jeremy Hill, Theo Riddick, James Starks, and Carlos Hyde.
WR: Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, Tyler Boyd, Odell Beckham Jr., Doug Baldwin, and Marquess Wilson.
TE: Jimmy Graham, Martellus Bennett, Travis Kelce, Josh Hill, and Vance McDonald.
