DraftKings NFL Week 14 Sleeper Picks

What’s up everybody. Alex here, and I am back with my DraftKings NFL Sleeper Picks for Week 14. These are some of my favorite cheap plays of the week that should be low owned. Also if you are looking for more DraftKings NFL picks, check out Keegan’s article through this link. Like every NFL week, there are injury situations that you need to monitor all the way up until Sunday. So be sure to be on Twitter all weekend and watch all the other major news outlets to see which players are active or inactive. As always if these picks help you win or if you need any advice, let me know on Twitter Hunta512.

TE: Jermaine Gresham: (2,500) Gresham has now scored 10+ DK points in three straight weeks, but is still priced at a bare minimum $2,500. QB Carson Palmer has been playing much better lately, playing more conservative football, and hitting his receivers in short yard situations. Gresham has been the main beneficiary from this, seeing 18.3% of The Cardinals targets in the last two weeks, which is second best on the team only trailing David Johnson. Also in this stretch, he has rarely missed any snaps, playing 93% of the snaps in Week 12, and 94% of the snaps in Week 14.

This week he gets a very nice matchup vs The Dolphins who have allowed a very high 26 DK points a game to opposing TEs over the past two weeks. This defense is much more vulnerable down the middle vs the outside, ranking 22nd in defending passes in the middle of the field. The veteran TE should have no problem returning value at this price, and has a solid of chance of scoring a TD, with The Dolphins allowing an average of 1.0 TDs a game since Week 11. At this price I am comfortable with him and all formats, and really like stacking him with Palmer this week.

WR: Desean Jackson: (5,200) WR is a very tough position this week, and I think taking Jackson’s upside vs this Eagles defense is a great GPP strategy. This defense which was looked at, as one of the league’s best units, has really struggled the last few weeks, allowing just over 47 DK points a game to WRs since Week 11. Jackson doesn’t see the most targets in this offense, but always has a chance to catch a deep ball for a TD. This would be the perfect week for QB Kirk Cousins to give Jackson some deep shots, with The Eagles ranking 24th in defending deep passes in 2016.

Jackson is supposed to be defended by Eagles CB Leodis McKelvin who gives up 0.5 fantasy points per route, which is the highest mark of the week for a CB. Also don’t forget Jackson played for this Eagles team for five years and didn’t leave on a good terms. You know he is already thinking about taunting this crowd as he struts into the end zone this weekend. I love playing Cousins this week, and stacking him with Jackson has serious upside in GPPs this Sunday. Be sure to watch the status of TE Jordan Reed who is questionable, because if he is out, Jackson should see a few more targets in his absence.

RB: Tevin Coleman: (4,000) This Falcons offense is very beat up going into Week 14 vs The Rams. WR Muhammad Sanu (groin) has already been ruled out and #1 WR Julio Jones is questionable (toe) to play. Even with these injuries The Falcons still have an implied team total of 25.75 points. Outside of WR Taylor Gabriel who will be a popular play, as he is starting for Sanu, I think Coleman has the best chance to produce value in this matchup with The Rams. In the last three weeks, this Rams defense has been dead last defending RBs, allowing over 31 DK points a game to opposing backfields.

They have struggled, especially with receiving RBs like Coleman, giving up five catches a game in their three last games. (7.6 yards per catch) I think Jones does play, but even with Sanu out, Coleman should see a few extra targets and potentially could play some snaps lined up as a WR. He hasn’t produced big numbers like he did in the beginning of the season, since returning from a hamstring injury a few weeks ago, which should keep his ownership low this week. I would not recommend him for cash games, but Coleman is a player who has a ton of upside at his $4,000 salary, if he is utilized more this week.

Also Consider:

QB: Eli Manning, Tyrod Taylor, Colin Kaepernick, and Robert Griffin III.

RB: Rob Kelley, Rashad Jennings, Todd Gurley, Lamar Miller, Thomas Rawls, Mark Ingram, and T.J. Yeldon (if Ivory is out).

WR: Pierre Garcon (better if Reed is out), Terrelle Pryor, Robby Anderson, Marquis Lee, Cameron Meredith/ Joshua Bellamy (if Wilson is out), Marvin Jones, Sammy Watkins, Kenny Britt, and Stefon Diggs.

TE: Eric Ebron, Jason Witten, Jordan Reed (if active), and Daniel Brown.

D: Niners, Redskins, Colts, Bills, and Chargers.
