What’s up everybody. Alex here, and I am back with my DraftKings NFL Sleeper Picks for Week 17. These are some of my favorite cheap plays of the week that should be low owned. Like every NFL week, there are injury situations that you need to monitor all the way up until Sunday. So be sure to be on Twitter all weekend and watch all the other major news outlets to see which players are active or inactive. As always if these picks help you win or if you need any advice, let me know on Twitter. Hunta512.

WR: Steve Smith Sr: (4,900) Sunday will likely be Smiths last game in The NFL and I am expecting him to end his storied career with a bang. Smith who is 38 years old has had a remarkable season with 67 catches, 765 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns when considering that he almost didn’t play this year after tearing his Achilles at the end of last season. He is coming off one of his best games of the year, catching all seven of his targets for 79 yards and a TD vs The Steelers. (22.9 DK points) With The Ravens eliminated from the playoffs, I think their one motivation this week will be to get Smith the ball. He is an emotional player who has played with a chip on his shoulder his whole career.
If this is truly his last game, you know he is going to give it everything he can to have a big day. This isn’t the greatest matchup with The Bengals ranking 12th in DVOA vs #1 WRs, but they also have no shot of making the postseason, and should be much more vulnerable in a meaningless game. Smith also has some decent history going against The Bengals, averaging 21.73 DK points in his four games against them since 2014. He should see double digit targets and plenty of redzone targets with QB Joe Flacco trying to get him one last TD. It’s hard to predict his ownership this week with this game having no playoff implications, but regardless of ownership, he is one of my favorite overall plays of Week 17.
TE: Brandon Myers: (2,700) With starting TE Cameron Brate placed on IR (back), the veteran Myers will be The Bucs primary receiving TE in this win or go home matchup vs The Panthers. Myers hasn’t been used much at all this season as a receiver, but there are ton of targets to go around to this offense with Brate out. Brate was the #2 receiving option in this offense and was seeing a high 17.5% of Jameis Winston’s targets since Week 10. Myers should see a good chunk of those targets this Sunday in a dream matchup vs The Panthers who have allowed the 2nd most DK points to opposing TEs all season.
They have been especially weak in the red zone, giving up an average of one TD a game to TEs since Week 14. Myers obviously isn’t as talented as Brate, but he is a decent receiver who should play most of the snaps in this very important game. With the expected volume coming his way he should be able to out produce his cheap $2,700 salary in this perfect matchup. With an expected low ownership of 0-1% VIA Fantasy Labs, he is one of the best TE punts of the week.
WR: Eli Rogers: (4,000) No matter what happens this weekend The Steelers will be the three seed in The AFC this postseason. They have nothing to play for and they are expected to rest RB Le’Veon Bell, WR Antonio Brown, and QB Ben Roethlisberger vs The Browns. With Brown and Bell out of the picture, there is a ton volume to go around, with these two players seeing just about 50% of the team’s targets this season.
Rogers instantly becomes the #1 target in this offense that will be run with QB Landry Jones under center. Jones isn’t a very good QB, but Rogers should lead this team in targets vs this Browns secondary that ranks 30th in DVOA vs #1 WRs this season. Even with all these key players out, Vegas has still has given this Steelers team a solid implied team total of 24.25 points. Rogers should be very busy in this perfect matchup and at a cheap $4,000 price tag I am comfortable with him in all formats this Sunday.
QB: Joe Flacco, Landry Jones, and Kirk Cousins.
RB: Rex Burkhead, Alfred Blue, Rob Kelley, DeAngleo Williams, Jacquizz Rodgers, Ronnie Hillman, Paul Perkins, Darren Sproles (great value), Ty Montgomery, and Zach Zenner (if Theo Riddick is out).
WR: Davante Parker, Cameron Meredith, Chris Hogan, Desean Jackson, Deandre Hopkins, Adam Thelin (Diggs is doubtful), and Rishard Matthews.
TE: Antonio Gates, Charles Clay, Jesse James, Eric Ebron, and Kyle Rudolph.
D: Redskins, Titans, Jags, and Bills.
