The Sunday Night matchup for Week 13 is most certainly worth the wait. The 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles will travel to football’s most rowdy stadium to do battle with the 7-4 Seattle Seahawks. This should be a fascinating affair, as playoff seeding and positioning is already being hotly contested. The Seahawks are looking to win their division, while you can bet the Eagles certainly want the number one overall seed locked up for the NFC.
All that being said, this is a big test for both squads and should make for quite the finish to a jam-packed Sunday of NFL Week 13 action. Feel free to read on below for a full game breakdown, analysis, and a betting selection for the Eagles and Seahawks live on Sunday Night Football.

Eagles vs. Seahawks Pick:
Though the Seahawks’ defense is badly depleted and remain a shell of their former selves, I’d expect their stop unit to still have a couple of tricks ready for sophomore QB Carson Wentz. This should serve as a big test for the young play-caller and it remains to be seen how he will deal if under heavy pressure this week.
Wentz is shielded by a pretty solid offensive line, but the Seahawks still have one of the best pass rushers in the NFL in Michael Bennett. He doesn’t lose many match-ups and he should be decently effective in hounding down the usually elusive Bennett. Wentz can also rely on finding his tight end if he doesn’t have enough time and space to connect big to his receivers. Zach Ertz has had a breakout season in 2017, and Seattle will need to do a better job of limiting this position if they are to hang around come Sunday evening.
Russell Wilson meanwhile will continue to see a lot of pressure – but that’s nothing new for the elite QB. He’s as elusive as they come and he should be able to make a bunch of creative plays based off of his legs alone. And though Philly possesses quite a bit of talent in their secondary, the Wilson-to-Baldwin connection should be in fine form on Sunday night.
The Seahawks keep games close and they aren’t about to be embarrassed on national TV on their home field. The Eagles are good and are catching Seattle at a vulnerable time with some injuries – but with Earl Thomas and Bobby Wagner fully healthy for Seattle, that should be enough to limit Carson Wentz and his high-octane attack. Seattle enters seeming like the sharp side and the spread has already moved quite a bit, closer to a field goal range. That’s where I see this game ultimately falling, and I’ll go with the Seahawks at home to keep things interesting throughout.
PICK = Seattle +3.5 (-120)
