OAK – Derek Carr ($ 7900) – The Raiders are back at home this week with another great match-up in the passing game. The Panthers rank in the bottom 3rd in the league against the pass, ranked 24th in DVOA and DVP. But on the flip side the Panthers have been very stout against the run, which is why Carr makes for a great mid priced QB. Carr has shown upside of 30+ FD points and a nice floor having scored at least 20 FD points in 6 games this season.

SEA – Russell Wilson ($ 7500) – There something about the second half of the season for this entire team, we saw them turn it on last year in November and they’re doing it again. Wilson has scored 24+ FD points in 3 straight games and now gets a great match up against the Bucs. Vegas has the Seahawks with a 25 point team total, which is works more in Wilson favor this week as Rawls is still getting acclimated.

Running Backs

AZ – David Johnson ($ 9500) – This should come as no surprise, as David Johnson along with Le’veon Bell have been the most consistent fantasy players of the season. David Johnson showed last week that he is BEYOND match up proof and is a must play week in and week out. DJ has scored at least 12.5 FD points per week and has gone over 30 FD points 3 times. We wont harp on this much, just start your cash line ups with DJ and figure the rest out later.

MIA – Jay Ajayi ($ 8400) – Yes, you read that right Jay Ajayi has made it to the Power Plays and for good reason. The Dolphins have won 5 in a row and most of that can be attributed to Ajayi, and this week he has the best match up out of any RB. The 49ers have allowed 10 running backs to amass over 100 total yards and have also allowed nearly 1800 rushing yards on the season. The Dolphins are 7.5 point favorites so I expect the workload to be heavy for Ajayi.

*Tournament Target* – NYG – Rashad Jennings ($ 6600) – I know the running backs above are killing your salary, so here is the relief if you want to plug in one of the studs, or if you’re on DK and want the a play for your flex. Cleveland has been getting crushed all year by everyone, and especially on the ground giving up 30 FD points per game to opposing running backs. Jennings last week had a season high in yards from scrimmage and snaps to go along with his season high production in terms of fantasy points with a 21 point performance.

Wide Receivers

OAK – Amari Cooper ($ 7800) – Amari Cooper has been playing the best football of his career lately, if you throw out the recent games against Denver and against Jalen Ramsey (I refuse to give the entire Jags team credit) Cooper has posted scores of 24, 18, 29, and 13.7 in his last 4 games. Like I mentioned above the way to attack the Panthers is through the air, and we were reminded of Coopers home run ability last week on that screen pass.

NE – Julian Edelman ($ 6400) – I always like Edelman a little more in a full PPR scoring site like DK, but I love how cheap he still is on FD. Edelman targets are insane since Brady’s return having 34 in his last 3 games for 19 catches. The way to attack the Jets are similar to the Panthers, you attack them through the air which plays in the Patriots strengths.

SEA – Doug Baldwin ($ 6800) – If you’re playing Russell Wilson you’re playing the guy who catches fire at the same time as he does, and thats Baldwin. The Bucs secondary havent been able to stop anyone at all this year on defense, allowing 20% of passes completed against them to go for 20+ yards, which is second worst in the NFL. Baldwin over the past year has averaged 18.8 yards per reception. Oh and he can throw too!

*Tournament Target* – NYG -Sterling Shepard ($ 6100) – This is another value play, and would you of guessed it comes against the Browns. Shepard the last 3 games has really caught fire along with the rest of Giants. Shepard has 24 targets and 3TDs in his last 3 games. I think the fact McCown is starting actually helps the Giants offense because the Browns offense will be competent against a Giants defense that is middle of the road.

*Tournament Target* – NO – Brandin Cooks ($ 7100) – The super dome or the Coors field of football, which ever term you like to use has a serious effect on Cooks and Brees. These two have connected on 5 TDs passes at home this year, and Cooks has produced double digit fantasy point in 4 out of the 5 home games. Those all havent been easy match ups either 2 of which were against Denver and Seattle.

Tight Ends

CAR – Greg Olsen ($ 7000) – This is the most expensive tight end on the slate, but his price is the cheapest of the season. The Panthers will have to throw the ball being a road underdog, against a team that struggles covering the tight end. The Raiders have been average recently allowing 6 catches for 60 yards a game verses opposing tight ends. This a gut call, I see Olsen going for 110 and 2TDs.

CLE – Gary Barnidge  ($4800) – One of my favorite plays of the week, and he is the same price as mid level kicker! Barnkowski gets his partner in crime back in Josh McCown who found him for a TD last week. The price is too low for a QBs favorite target in a game in which they will have to throw the ball.

Buffalo Bills ($ 4800) – Unfortunately for a Jags fan like myself, you just plug and play defenses against them. Bortles is a turnover machine and the offense of line is a mess. Also the Bills have 10 sacks in the last 3 games. The weather in this game could get ugly by kickoff which makes the defense an even better play.
