The Packers couldn’t stop Dalvin Cook and the Minnesota rushing attack as the Vikings took a 28-22 win at Lambeau Field despite three touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers. The 49ers were added to the list of teams that bowed to Russell Wilson as he threw four touchdown passes to lead the Seahawks to a 37-27 win.
It’s going to be Nick Mullens at quarterback for the foreseeable future for the 49ers as Jimmy Garropolo is out indefinitely after a high ankle injury in the loss to the Seahawks. Add tight end George Kittle to the injury mix with a foot fracture which will cause him to miss an unidentified amount of time.
Rodgers will get after the Niners’ secondary that is smarting from the burning it took from Wilson. Pressure up front from Kerry Hyder and Arik Armstead will be a must if the 49ers are to slow Rodgers and use a running game behind running backs Jerick McKinnon and Jamycal Hasty.
