The Los Angeles Rams go home finally after two losses on the road to the San Francisco 49ers, 31-10, and Green Bay Packers, 36-28. This is their third loss in a row, which started back on November 7 in a 28-16 to the Tennessee Titans.
After a four-game winning streak and the Rams at 7-1 on the season, people were anointing Matthew Stafford as the guy to get the Rams to the Super Bowl. Not so fast. The Rams are a game away from falling to 7-5 after a 7-1 start.

The Rams are falling out of favor in the NFC West even with an injured Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. It was the perfect time for the Rams to put some separation between them and the Cardinals.
With Murray scheduled to return soon, possibly this week, the Rams are trailing the 9-2 Arizona Cardinals. That’s a missed opportunity for the Rams. Acquiring Von Miller clearly wasn’t the final piece to a Super Bowl run.
It’s not to say that the Rams can’t put their season back together again and get hot in December. They need a game to regain their confidence, which could be the case versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars are looking for their third win of the season to advance to 3-9.

The Jags are coming off a 21-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons for their third in a row. It was a competitive loss for the Jaguars, but they still failed to cover the 6 points at home. The 49ers blasted the Jags the week before by a score of 30-10.
They have the Rams coming off three losses of their own, and they’re playing their worst football of the season at the moment. Is it a chance for an upset or a “get right” spot for the Rams at SoFi Stadium? Head below for our free Jaguars vs. Rams pick on December 5, 2021.

Jaguars vs. Rams Prediction:
Matthew Stafford hasn’t had an ideal running game this season. Where have we seen that before? Stafford struggled for years to have a ground game in Detroit to work with.
It isn’t as obvious or bad in LA, but the Rams are 24th in the NFL with 95.2 rushing yards per game. Nevertheless, Stafford is expected to deliver for the Rams.
He has been good with 27 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on 66.5% completions. Stafford is coming off a big performance with 302 yards and 3 touchdowns at Lambeau Field.
That sounds familiar as well. Nice numbers from Stafford, but can’t come up with a play when the Rams need it the most. Against the Jags, they likely won’t need a clutch winning drive, though.
This looks like a prototypical Stafford game where he rolls up points versus an inferior opponent. The Jags have not been forcing turnovers this season, which should help him.
They are dead last in the NFL in turnovers in 32nd. Jacksonville has allowed 25.7 points per game for 26th in the league. The Rams need to get right, and this looks like a good spot.

Trevor Lawrence has looked like a rookie this season. He is a rookie so he’s met expectations on this bad Jaguars team. Like a first-year quarterback, Lawrence has looked great at times, and then not so in other instances.
He goes into Week 13 with 9 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on 58% completions. Lawrence will be expected to do much more next season, but right now, it’s unfair to come to a conclusion this early in his career. He needs an offensive line to keep him upright.

The Rams on the west coast should be a tough assignment for Lawrence. This is a team that has played lousy football lately, and I’m sure the Rams are looking for someone to beat up on. The Rams’ offense should score early points and Jacksonville can’t keep up.
Look for Stafford to sling it around and Lawrence will look to match. Lawrence is going to get himself in trouble trying to do the same. Go with the Rams to win and win big by at least two touchdowns. I like the Rams in a 35-17 final at SoFi Stadium.
