Ralph Wilson Stadium will be the site of an AFC battle as the Buffalo Bills host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Bills come into the game a putrid 0-4 (1-3) ATS, while the Jags are 2-2 (2-2 ATS). Kickoff is set for 1 PM EST.
Jacksonville comes into the game even on the season at 2-2 but are riding high following a dramatic win over division rival Indianapolis last week. Kicker Josh Scobee booted a 59 yard field goal as time expired to give the Jags the win and beat a team that normally feasts on them. The Jags are led by QB David Garrard who has been up and down this season. He has 611 yards passing and 6 touchdowns but has also thrown 5 interceptions. Running back Maurice Jones Drew has 322 yards on the ground a touchdown to go with a receiving touchdown. The 2-2 record may be a bit deceiving as the Jaguars are 30th in the NFL giving up 404.8 yards per game on defense. They also have scored 17.8 points per game and allowed 27.8 per contest.
Buffalo is an absolute mess and are quite possibly the worst team in the league through 4 weeks. Last week, the Bills were trounced 38-14 by their division rival, the New York Jets. The team can barely move the ball with just 237.2 yards of offense per game, which is easily last in the NFL so far. Their leaders in offensive stat categories are a joke. Marshawn Lynch is their leading rusher, only he was traded to Seattle this week. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick took over for Trent Edwards who was the starter in Week One and has subsequently been released. The team has a few skill players in C.J. Spiller and Lee Evans, but nobody can get them the ball. The 31.2 points per game the team is allowing is worst in the NFL as well.

Jaguars vs. Bills Prediction for Week 5:
Spread Prediction (TOP PLAY) – The Bills don’t really do anything all that effectively. Their offense is terrible and is not much of a threat to move the ball or put up points on anyone. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are riding high with confidence off of their huge win over the Colts a week ago. However, this game has all the makings of a trap for Jacksonville. They played their biggest game in years last week by beating Indy and will possibly overlook Buffalo who are somewhat competent at home. The Jags are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Look for a surprise in this one.
Top Play Prediction: BILLS +1
Game Total Prediction – Buffalo really struggles to move the ball and are a concern to put up more than 14 points in any given week. Jags quarterback David Garrard also tends to make mistakes in the red zone that cost his team points. The Bills have seen 11 of their last 16 games go under the posted total. Expect a low scoring affair here based more on offensive ineptitude than strong defense.
Prediction: UNDER 41 points
