Week 4 of the NFL is going to be an exciting one! Starting with some key 1:00 PM EST match ups including AFC North division rivals Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns squaring off. Later in the afternoon we will see Donovan McNabb head back to Philadelphia for the first time as the Redskins look to knock of the Eagles. The Sunday Night Week 4 game features the undefeated Chicago Bears taking on Eli Manning and the New York Giants. Week 4 will be concluded with an exciting divisional match up between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. Below I have listed my top NFL Week 4 Picks for those interested in betting on the NFL.

Top Week 4 Picks for NFL Betting:
The Steelers will be going with their fourth string quarterback Charlie Batch for Sunday’s game at home against the Ravens. Although Batch looked good in his first start of the season last weekend, the game was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs secondary struggled on two of Batch’s TD passes last week, and they also picked him off twice. The Baltimore defense will be a much bigger test for the Steelers offense without Big Ben, and I can’t see them putting up many points. Both games last year between these two teams were decided by 3 points. I really like the Ravens at least keeping it within a field goal, if not pulling up the upset outright. You can get the Ravens at +3 at 5Dimes.com although you will have to lay some juice.
There are a lot of trends that are agreeing with me on this pick. The Colts have gone over the number in 7 of their last 10 games, and 4 of their last 5 road games. In these two teams last 5 meetings in Jacksonville the game has gone over the posted total in 4 of those. I think Peyton Manning can pick apart this suspect Jaguars defense, and Jacksonville will be able to match some of the scores with Maurice Jones Drew getting a lot of touches. Look for this Colts vs Jaguars game to creep over that total sometime in the fourth quarter.
The Texans are coming off of a home loss to the Cowboys, as they put in a poor performance last Sunday. The Raiders should have won their game last week, but lost by a single point due to a missed last second field goal. Looking at last weeks performances by each team there may be a lean towards the Raiders, but I think the Texans are more of the team we saw in week 1 when they beat the Colts. Matt Shaub has grown to become one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL and I look for him to pick up a road win Sunday in Oakland, covering the 3 points in doing so.
