NFL Week 5 Picks – Against the Spread and Over Under

Last week I went a perfect 3-0 with my NFL Week 4 Picks and I look to continue my hot streak here in Week 5 of the NFL!

Again I have three picks for the week, and I am really confident in these plays again.  If you are looking for more picks make sure you check our Sports Picks Blog where our writers do write ups for each NFL game which include Top Play picks.  So far our writers have been doing a great job on the NFL season and I only expect them to continue!

Week 5 of the NFL includes some very exciting match ups!  We will see the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs look to continue to remain the only NFL team without a loss as they travel to Indianapolis to face Peyton Manning and the Colts.  The Tennessee Titans will meet up with the Dallas Cowboys in what should be a back and forth exciting game.  In the Sunday Night game we will see Kevin Kolb make a start as the Eagles quartberback with Vick injured, as he looks to drop the San Francisco 49ers to 5-0.  And the NFL Week 5 Monday Night’er is a dandy, with Randy Moss and the Vikings heading to New York to take on Sanchez and the Jets!  Check out my NFL Week 5 Picks below!

Week 5 NFL Betting Picks:

Chiefs/Colts OVER 45.5 –  Click Here to get it at (-105) @ 5Dimes.com:

It’s no secret that the Indianapolis Colts don’t have the strongest defense, and rely on Manning and their offense to win games.  The Colts defense allowed 31 points last week in their loss against the Jaguars, and allowed 34 points in their Week 1 game vs the Texans.  KC has a solid running game and some explosive playmakers that will find holes in this Colts defense and/or special teams defense.  Manning will control the offense at home putting up some nice numbers again this week.  The game should make it over the posted total.

NEW ORLEANS -6.5 –  Click Here to get it at (-105) @ 5Dimes.com:

The New Orleans Saints aren’t the Super Bowl team from last year YET, as they have had a lot of troubles offensively.  They are facing an Arizona Cardinals team who got thumped by San Diego 41-10 last week, and shouldn’t have beat the Raiders the prior week (missed FG in the last few seconds by the Raiders).  In Week 2 the Cardinals got embarrassed by the Falcons 41-7, and their week 1 win was over St Louis.  It just seems like the Cardinals are going to get beat badly by any team who has a good offense, and I look for Drew Brees and the Saints to get their game back here in Week 5.  Get on the Saints at 6.5 at 5Dimes by clicking the link above before it gets up to 7 or 7.5 at kickoff (my guess).  The Saints win by a touchdown or two here in Week 5.

ATLANTA FALCONS -3Click Here to get it at (-110) @ BetUS.com:

Although the Falcons are coming off a shaky performance at home last week, where they should have lost the game, I think they are in a good spot on the road in Week 5.  The Browns have played back to back very tough games against division rivals, in which they beat the Bengals at home last week and played Baltimore tough the in week 3.  Since their week 1 loss to the Steelers the Falcons have won three straight, including a road win over the New Orleans Saints.  They faced a scare last week, and we know they will be fully prepared and ready for this Browns squad.  Cleveland ultimately have been in four straight battles in the first four weeks and won’t have what it takes to keep up with the Falcons.  Atlanta covers the 3 point spread this weekend.
