NFL Week 6 Draft Kings & FanDuel Value Plays

Hey Guys I’m back again for the second time this week, here to bring you more plays for your DFS lineups. We’ll be taking a look at some of my favorite value plays on the week 6 slate for FanDuel and Draft Kings. The guys talked about in this article are guys who I expect to see having a big workload, are in a great match up or just a complete gut call. Finding value is not easy, but it’s a must for having a successful week in DFS. Now let’s get into the Value Plays for week 6.

Catch me every Wednesday night between 8-10 PM (EST) on the NFL Fantasy channel for Sirius XM radio.

KC – Alex Smith ($ 5700 DK) ($ 6800 FD) – If you take out the game against the Houston Texans in week 2 Smith has hit 2x his value in all 3 of his game. While posting a monster 28+ FD point performance in week one against the Chargers. Smith gets a great match up against the raiders who have given up some big games already this to opposing quarterbacks.

AZ – Carson Palmer ($ 6000 DK) – This is a play for Draft Kings, as his price on FD is still too expensive. This is the benefit of playing on two different websites, finding a play you like and getting more value for the play then you could if you only played on one. The jets this year have been a funnel defense for opposing QBs giving up 3 TD passes to Wilson two weeks ago, and 4 to Big Ben last week. The Jets are still stout against the run, forcing opposing teams to pass. I like Palmer and his WRs in this match up against the soft Jets secondary.

Running Back

NE – James White ($ 4100 DK) ($ 5700 FD) – There are offenses in the NFL that you just want to have ownership too, and sometimes you have to go bargain hunting to find exposure to that team. The New England Patriots are that team with Tom Brady back leading the troops. James white saw his roll increase last week with Brady’s return seeing 6 targets and catching 4 of those, while also adding in 5 carries. This is a homerun play, but could hit 2-3x value letting us pay up for other studs across the board.

Wide Receiver

CHI – Cam Meredith ($ 4100 DK) ($ 5400 FD) – Meredith is still severely underpriced, and will be one of the highest owned WRs this week. Meredith in my opinion is cash game safe, since Kevin White got injured in week 4 Meredith has seen 90% of the snaps. That number is more than any other WR on the Bears, along with that he has seen 23 targets on his last 93 snaps.

NO – Michael Thomas ($ 4300 DK) ($ 5400 FD) – Thomas makes a great leverage play off of the sure to be high owned Meredith. If you’re not familiar what a leverage play is, it is pretty simple. A leverage play is two players who are similarly priced to one another and who are both in good match ups. The difference being the masses will be on one player much more than the other. Michael Thomas is a perfect example of that this week, if you were to roster Thomas and Meredith were to have a bad game you would sky rocket in large GPP fields. Thomas is coming off back to back weeks of 9+ targets, and is sure to be a focal point of the Saints offense this week, in what Vegas says should be the highest scoring game of the week.

Tight End

CLE – Gary Barnidge ($ 3300 DK) ($ 5300FD) – Tight end is a tough position, and it especially tough this week like running back with all the studs having great match-ups. But if you’re spending down I want a Tight end that see’s volume and is somewhat consistent. Barnidge has seen 5+ Targets in 4 straights putting up double digit fantasy points in 2 or 3 out of those 4 games, depending on what site you’re playing on. The Browns will always be playing from behind meaning the will be needing to throw the ball.
