Sorry for those who were waiting on my weekly NFL picks article last weekend – I was very busy and didn’t get an article written. This weekend I look to follow up on my Week 7 NFL Picks where I went a perfect 3 for 3! Week 9 should be yet another exciting NFL weekend as there are a handful of great match ups on the board. Sunday we will see the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens square off in Baltimore, New England is playing the tough Cleveland Browns on the road, and two surprising teams in the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders will square off. The Sunday Night game features the struggling Dallas Cowboys in Green Bay to take on the Packers. Monday Night we will see an exciting divisional rivals as the Cincinnati Bengals look to get back on track at home against the 5-2 Pittsburgh Steelers. Check out my NFL Week 9 picks against the spread below if you’re interested in betting on the games, and also be sure to check out the special FREE MONEY offers we have listed from the online sports betting sites.

NFL Week 9 Betting Picks:
The Indianapolis Colts (5-2) will head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles (4-3) for a 4:15 EST match up. The Colts come into this game as a three point underdog after winning their last three games (Hou, Was, KC) and 5 of their last 6. The Eagles come off of a bye week, but dropped their week 7 game against Tennessee 37-19. The Colts have quietly climbed near the top of the AFC and Peyton Manning and the Colts offense have looked sharp in doing so. On the other hand, even with Vick back in the line up, I am not completely sold on the Eagles just yet. The Eagles are a solid team, but I don’t think they should be favored by three points here against the Colts. Philadelphia is just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games, while the Colts are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog, and 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a road underdog of 0.5-3 points. My pick is on the Colts here for Sunday’s match up at 5Dimes.com which is offering them at + 3 (-110)!
The Detroit Lions (2-5) will play host to the New York Jets (5-2) in a Sunday afternoon showdown. After reeling off 5 straight wins the New York Jets got shutout at home 9-0 by the GB Packers last Sunday. The Lions, favored by 2.5 points, beat the Redskins 37-25 at home last weekend and have won 2 of 3. Although the Jets will be motivated after being embarrassed last weekend at home, I like the Lions to keep things close on Sunday with their high powered offense. The Lions aren’t a good team to bet against this year, as they are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. This line opened at 3.5 but has since moved to 5 points. I liked it at 4, and even better now at 5 points. Get on the Lions +5 (-110) at Sportsbook.com now!
The Oakland Raiders (4-4) play host to the 5-2 Kansas City Chiefs – a battle of two very surprising teams in the 2010 NFL season. Although the line had opened up with the Raiders as three point favorites, we now see the game sit as a pick ’em with no spread. Both teams have won two straight games, with the Chiefs barely squeaking out a home win last week against the Bills in overtime. The Raiders have been impressive beating the Seahawks 33-3 as 1.5 point favorites and the Broncos 59-14 as 7 point underdogs in their last two games. These two teams match up pretty evenly, but I give the edge to the Raiders on their home field. I think the oddsmakers had it right at 3 points, and now with the line set as a pick ’em I will be all over the Raiders at home.
