The struggling Philadelphia Eagles will look to shake off all of their losing as they head to Lambeau Field and Green Bay to take on the 8-3 Packers. Green Bay is rolling, and the Eagles certainly are not, though wildly Philly still has a shot at a playoff spot in the lowly NFC East.
With the Eagles entering at 3-7-1, it’s amazing to consider the fact that Philadelphia still has a shot at the playoffs, though eventually they have to play up to their alleged skill levels. It was rumored earlier in the week that Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is reportedly on the hot seat, and an encouraging outing against Green Bay in Week 13 would surely go a long way. One question that remains in doubt, will we finally see a bit more Jalen Hurts in this contest?
For the Packers, Aaron Rodgers continues to impress on a weekly basis. He destroyed the Bears’ secondary last week in a pretty tough matchup, and with Green Bay rapidly progressing toward securing a first-round bye in the NFC, don’t expect this veteran-laden crew to take their foot off the pedal just yet.
With the offensive talent on display, this game should produce some fireworks throughout. It will also be interesting to see if the Eagles step-up and bounce back after another dismal showing last week. The division is still winnable, but Philly needs results. Read on beneath the posted odds for our take and betting prediction on Green Bay vs. Philadelphia in what promises to be a wild Week 13.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers Pick:
There is virtually no way the Eagles can stop Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers in this contest. Philadelphia is vulnerable within their secondary at the moment, and with all of the Packers’ weapons, they should be able to exploit them with regularity.
Expect the Eagles to respond with a fair bit of pressure applied to Rodgers, but don’t expect that to rattle the veteran QB. Quick passes and check-downs to the Packers’ running backs should definitely alleviate that pressure, and help Green Bay to continually move the chains. Philly is also weak at linebacker, so expect big outings from Robert Tonyan and the Packers’ slot receivers in the middle of the field.
Carson Wentz is certainly no Aaron Rodgers, and at this point you have to wonder about how many more opportunities are left for him. He’s looking more and more lost with each passing game, and he’s likely going to struggle again going against a stingy Green Bay secondary. Philly is also banged up along their offensive line, so with the Packers also winning the battle in the trenches – it’s hard to see a clear path for the Eagles to moving the ball.
One storyline to follow is how many snaps rookie Jalen Hurts will get in this contest. At this point in a relatively lost season, why not give him more? Wentz continues to struggle, and Hurts could provide a much-needed skill dynamic for this stagnant Eagles’ offense. The Packers though won’t have trouble with anyone who wears a Philadelphia jersey come Sunday, and this should prove to be yet another rout. Back the Packers large on Sunday.
