The Ravens handed the Steelers a gift in the 28-24 loss as Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had an uncharacteristically tough game with four turnovers, including a pick-6 early in the first quarter. Indianapolis explode for 21 points in the fourth quarter for a 41-21 win over the Lions. Kenny Moore had a pick-6 in the fourth quarter, combined with 8 and 12-play drives for touchdowns.
From the Roost
Lamar Jackson vows to get the football to Maurice “Hollywood” Brown more as Brown needs and wants to be more of a playmaker. He has two touchdowns in his last three games. Rookie J.K. Dobbins looks like the heir apparent to the running back job as he had a career-high 113 yards rushing against the stout Steelers’ run defense. This game comes down to a Ravens rushing attack that averages 178.7 yards per game behind the multi-faceted Jackson vs. a Colts defense that limits opponents to 79-yard rushing per outing.
The Colts are surprisingly in good shape as They are making a case to challenge Tennessee in the NFC South. Philip Rivers looks for his third consecutive outing with three touchdown passes. He has been playing at a high level the last two weeks as he hasn’t thrown any picks. He will have to deal with the Ravens’ ball-hawking cornerbacks in Marcus Peters and Marlon Humphrey.
