Chicago Blackhawks vs. Minnesota Wild

Both Chicago and Minnesota are in the Wild Western Conference, and more particularly they are right in thick of this crazy playoff race. They are both sitting at 72 points on the season, which places them in a 4 way tie for the final 2 playoff spots. This will be the 4th and final meeting between the two teams, with the Hawks taking 2 out of the first 3 games. Chicago has been on a roll as of late posting a 6-1-2 record in their last 9. A big part of that has been the excellent play of Corey Crawford. He has posted a 6-1-1 record in his last 8 games and has been the go to guy for Chicago. Minnesota has been no slouch as of late either going 16-8-1 in their last 25. The big aspect that sticks out in a game that should be a heated affair with a playoff type atmosphere is goaltending. Minnesota is expected to go with their starter and one of the better goalies in the league in Niklas Backstrom while Chicago is expected to go with back-up Marty Turco. Detroit Red Wings vs. Los Angeles Kings

The second game of the night has the 2nd place team in the West (Detroit) pitted against the 5th place team (Los Angeles). These are two teams who have been on fire as of late as well. Detroit has gone 7-3-0 in their last 10 games and has been a very solid road team all year going 20-8-2. Two major players will be out for Detroit tonight as Johan Franzen is supposed to miss the game due to personal reasons and Brain Rafalski due to a back injury. Los Angeles has been working their way up the standings by going 11-1-3 in their last 15 games. Tonight will be the 3rd of 4 games between Detroit and Los Angeles this year, with the Kings taking both so far. Look for Jonathan Quick to continue his excellent play (9-1-1 in his last 11) and Anze Kopitar to put up some points (10 in his last 8 games). The pick tonight is
