Our first impression of the sportsbook at DirectBet was that the page was nice and clean. We immediately took note of the fact that the page was void of a single ad for their online casino. We can’t stand it when a sportsbook has annoying ads for casinos, and unfortunately, we see it all too often from many other online sportsbooks. Thanks to the missing ads, the page looked very professional.
We really like the fact that DirectBet makes it simple for their clients to find live action betting. We’re amazed how many online sportsbooks don’t make this simple enough for clients, so it is nice to see that DirectBet has made it easy to locate. With in-play action, it’s important to be able to find wagers fast since the games are already being played. If you’d like to wager on in-play action at DirectBet, simply click on the “Live” tab in the upper left-hand corner of the page. From there, you’ll be shown all available wagers for sporting events currently underway.
Sorting on the sportsbook at DirectBet was very simple and intuitive. As we explored the sportsbook, we were able to locate what we were looking for without an issue quickly. On DirectBet’s online sportsbook, you’re able to sort by both sport and bet type. Using these two options, you should be able to locate you perfect wager quickly on DirectBet.
Sports You Can Bet On
If you’re looking to bet on sports, DirectBet does not disappoint when it comes to their list of sports that you can bet on. Luckily, DirectBet has one of the longest lists of sports that you can bet on that we’ve seen in a long time from online sportsbooks. In total, DirectBet offers over 60 sports that you can wager on!
DirectBet offers two different sportsbooks for you to do your wagering on. You’re able to choose from the W Sports Sportsbook or the iSports Sportsbook. Both of these sportsbooks offered by DirectBet have a nice coverage of sports and a solid user interface.
It is worth noting that the list provided below is the list of sports that DirectBet’s sportsbooks offered at the time of our in-depth review. If for some reason you don’t see your sport of choice on the list below, be sure to check back on DirectBet once your sport is in season.
We’re super happy with the set of sports that you can bet on at DirectBet. Due to the list being so large, you’d be hard-pressed to not locate a sport on there that you are looking to bet on. With such a massive selection, DirectBet properly covers all of the major sports like basketball and baseball while also adding in some super hard to find sports like Chess and Netball.
As we mentioned in the section above, DirectBet offers wagers on esports. Currently, esports are extremely popular in sportsbooks around the world. esports as an industry is rapidly growing in popularity. Due to this rise in demand, we’re very pleased to see that DirectBet offers esports wagers on their sportsbook.
At the time of our review, DirectBet offered wagers on two of the mainstay games in the esports world. Those two games are League of Legends and CS:GO. While it is good that DirectBet offers wagers on these two games, we’d definitely like to see them expand to offer some more games in the near future. That being said, what they have right now is very competitive and in line with what we see out there from other online sportsbooks offering esports wagers.
DirectBet allows you the ability to easily sort on their sportsbook by both sport and bet type. If you’d like to sort by sport, you can select from the main menu of sports located on the left-hand side of the page. Be sure to click on the “More Sports” link towards the bottom to see the full list of all sports currently offered. In order to sort by bet type on DirectBet, first select your sport. Then, select the “Markets” tab in the upper left-hand corner of the page. Here, you’ll see all available bet types for your selected sport.
Something great about the sportsbook at DirectBet is that you can change how your odds are displayed. Not only are you able to change the odds type, but you’re also able to change the odds view as well. We really like the flexibility that DirectBet offers their clients with these two options.
DirectBet offers you the ability to change your odds type between four different styles of odds. You’re able to select from European, Malaysian, Hong Kong, and Indonesian. If you’d like to change your type of odds, simply click on the settings gear in the upper right-hand corner of the page. From there, you can use a drop down to select which style you’d like to see.
Along with changing the odds type, you can also change the odds view. DirectBet allows you the ability to change your odds view between single and double. In order to change your odds view on DirectBet, you’ll want to click on the settings gear in the top right-hand corner of the page. After doing that, you’ll find a drop-down that will allow you to select the odds view of your choice.
We liked that DirectBet offers clients the ability to sort by bet type. Too often, we find online sportsbooks that do not offer this functionality. If you’re looking to sort by bet type on DirectBet’s sportsbook, first begin by selecting your sport. Then, select the “Markets” tab in the upper left-hand corner of the page. From there, you’ll see all available bet types for your selected sport.
One nice touch on the site is that DirectBet allows you easy access to sort by league. Once you pick a sport from the left-hand main menu, you’ll find a button at the top that says “Select League.” Once you click on that button, DirectBet will show you all leagues available for that sport. You can then select checkboxes for all of the leagues that you want to see. Anything left unchecked will not be shown in your results.
If you’re looking to wager on in-play action, you’ll be happy to know that DirectBet makes it a breeze to locate in-play wagers. From the main sportsbook page, simply click on the “Live” tab towards the top left-hand side of the page. From there, you’ll be shown all wagers currently available on in-play action. We really like how convenient this makes it for people to locate live action betting.
Another great feature of the sportsbook at DirectBet is the ability to change the display language. DirectBet offers you eight different languages to choose from. The vast majority of them are Asian languages, but English is one of the options. If you’d like to change the language on the DirectBet sportsbook, simply click on the settings gear in the top right-hand corner of the page. Once there, you’ll be able to use a drop-down menu to select the language you prefer.
During the time on DirectBet for our site review, we took note that the site seemed to be properly equipped from a speed standpoint. We never came across any form of site lag or failed page loads. We were pleased with how the site responded to all of our clicks.
Overall, we’re very impressed with the user interface on DirectBet’s sportsbook. DirectBet offers a ton of features and settings that make the sportsbook very user-friendly. Based on our analysis of the sportsbook, we don’t have any suggestions for improvement at this time. Props to DirectBet for putting together such a solid sportsbook user interface.
When you’re ready for a break from the sports betting, be sure to check out the solid online casinos that DirectBet brings to the table. You’ll find that DirectBet gives you access to three different online casinos. In their online casinos, DirectBet has an absolutely massive selection of casino games that includes 243 slots, 89 jackpots, 49 types of poker, 48 table games, and much more! We were very impressed by the selection that DirectBet had to offer their clients.
From a graphics standpoint, DirectBet’s online casino games have some really good graphics. In fact, they are some of the best that we’ve seen out there. Unfortunately, we see bland graphics on most other online casinos, so it was nice to see one that clearly had invested in making a great online casino experience. We found the game graphics to be very vibrant and engaging on the DirectBet casino games that we played during our in-depth review.
Something else that we liked about the online casino was that they offered some name brand games. All too often, we come across online casinos that only have generic or cheesy knock-off games like “Dogfather.” Luckily, you’ll find some really nice name brand games on DirectBet such as “South Park” and “Captain America.” Name brand games are a sign that an online casino has invested large sums in an effort to bring their clients the top-notch games out there.
We were very glad to see that DirectBet’s online casino also offered some live dealer games. What’s nice about DirectBet is that you’re able to choose from three different live dealer casino options. This allows you the ability to find which one is the best fit for you.
At DirectBet, you’ll find three different live dealer casino games. You’ll be able to play live dealer Baccarat, Blackjack, and Roulette on DirectBet’s online casino. These three live dealer games are what we tend to see from most online casinos that offer live dealer games. The quality of the live dealer games was very nice, and the video connection with the dealer was crisp and clear.
As a whole, we really like the online casino at DirectBet. They’ve created a winning combination by offering name brand games, live dealer games, a massive selection, and quality game graphics. If you’re contemplating playing casino games online, be sure to try out the DirectBet site and don’t forget to take advantage of their online casino bonuses and promotions.
Deposit and Withdrawal Options
When it comes to banking options, things get a bit complicated with DirectBet. While they have a solid online sportsbook and casino, many people may find it tough to move funds onto the DirectBet site. As you’ll see below, DirectBet does not make it easy for clients.
The first hurdle with DirectBet banking is that they only deal in the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) currency. It would be one thing if it was a much more popular currency like the Euro or USD, but unfortunately, it is not. In order to move any funds onto DirectBet, you’ll need to be sending them Malaysian Ringgit which is nearly impossible for most to do.
You’ll also find a major hurdle with moving funds onto the site because DirectBet will only receive funds from a Malaysian bank account. We don’t know about you, but none of us on staff here have a Malaysian bank account lying around.
Due to these two major restrictions, our guess is that anyone outside of Malaysia will have a tough time moving funds onto and off of DirectBet. We’d strongly urge DirectBet to open up their site to more currency and banking options so that more players can easily move funds onto their site. DirectBet has a killer online sportsbook and casino, but it will be nearly impossible for most players to ever play there for real money due to these banking restrictions.
As we mentioned above, DirectBet only offers banking through Malaysian bank accounts. Below, we’ve broken out the minimum and maximum deposits for this deposit banking option.
Malaysian Bank Account Transfer
• Minimum Deposit Amount: 30 MYR
• Maximum Deposit Amount: N/A
As with their deposits, DirectBet only allows you to withdraw your funds using a Malaysian bank account. We’ve provided you with minimum and maximum withdraw details below for your reference.
Malaysian Bank Account Transfer
• Minimum Withdrawal Amount: 50 MYR
• Maximum Withdrawal Amount: N/A
• Withdrawal Processing Time: Roughly 15 minutes
Overall, we’re not a huge fan at all of the banking options at DirectBet. By only accepting Malaysian Ringgits from Malaysian bank accounts, DirectBet is severely limiting the number of clients that can gamble on their site. In order to help increase their client base, DirectBet will need to open up for more currencies while also offering more banking options to their clients. We’d highly suggest that DirectBet considers some mainstay banking options such as Neteller, Skrill, and credit card.

DirectBet offers a large set of bonuses and promotional offers to their clients. As you’ll see below, DirectBet offers a good mix of promotions geared at both new and existing players. In this section, we’ve done our best to showcase the USD equivalent in most places so that you can get a rough idea of what the potential for these promotions looks like. At the time of our review, 1 USD is worth roughly 4 MYR.

Under the terms and conditions of this promotion, you can claim your rebate once a week. Consult the DirectBet site if you’d like to view the full terms and conditions of this offer.

In order to earn the full bonus, you’ll need to deposit 160 MYR (~$38).
The bonus funds from this promotion are subject to an 8x rollover requirement which is pretty low overall. It is worth noting that you’ll need to deposit a minimum of 30 MYR (~$7) in order to qualify for the bonus. Below, we’ve included a handy chart showcasing all of the key details for the DirectBet Birthday Bonus. Be sure to check out DirectBet’s site to view the full terms and conditions of this offer.

Before we wrapped up our in-depth review, we took the time to do a deep dive into the customer service that DirectBet offered to their clients. Surprisingly, DirectBet offers a whopping five different ways that you can contact them for assistance. We’ve never seen another online sportsbook or casino with this many options before. Currently, DirectBet allows you the ability to contact their customer service team through live chat, telephone, WeChat, email, or Twitter. Below, we’ll give you the details on each one of these customer service contact options offered by DirectBet.
We were very glad to see that DirectBet offers live chat customer service support. This is our most preferred method of contact since it tends to be the fastest way to get help and answers. What’s nice about the live chat on DirectBet is that they make it super easy to find. DirectBet even has a live chat prompt pop up after you’ve spent some time on the site.
We utilized the DirectBet live chat customer service support many times during our review. On each occasion, we received very fast and helpful replies from their customer service team. We were very pleased with the level of customer service offered by their team. If you’d like to contact DirectBet using live chat, simply click on the live chat logo located in the bottom right-hand corner of any DirectBet web page.
For those clients who prefer to use the telephone to contact customer service, DirectBet also offers that option as well. To reach the customer service team at DirectBet via telephone, simply call them at +603-9212-8142. It is worth noting that their phone number is not a toll-free phone number so be careful if you’re worried about international fees on your phone bill. We’d highly suggest that DirectBet offer a toll-free phone number for their clients to use so that they don’t have to worry about paying international calling fees.
One of the unique contact options offered by DirectBet is WeChat. We’ve not seen another online sportsbook or casino utilize this method before. We definitely like that they have something different than everyone else. If you’d like to use WeChat to reach the DirectBet customer service team, simply use their username “DIRECTBETMY” to contact them on WeChat.
DirectBet also offers you the option to contact their customer service team using email. We tested out their email customer support during our review, and we were very happy with the response time and level of support that we received from their email support team. If you’d like to email the customer service team at DirectBet, you can send them an email to [email protected]
Lastly, DirectBet also offers you the ability to contact them via Twitter. This option might be preferred by clients that utilize Twitter on a regular basis. In order to reach DirectBet via Twitter, you can tweet @mydirectbet to get the ball rolling.
As a whole, DirectBet has a pretty solid customer service setup. We really like that they have five different contact options that clients can use. As we mentioned above, our only suggestion would be the addition of a toll-free number for clients to use when calling in. Other than that, we’re highly impressed by the customer service from DirectBet.
