We’re going back to Nicaragua for a day of football betting in the Liga Primera. We were successful with our first pick in the Nicaragua Liga Primera last week with Real Esteli. Real Esteli broke up a 1-1 tie to take the lead following a poor play by the opposing goalkeeper. With the one selection and win, we’re at 100% in the Liga Primera in Nicaragua.
That doesn’t mean much with a one-game sample size, but it sure feels nice to say a 100% win rate. I will be more impressed with myself if I can win a few more matches and hold steady at 100%. I’m not going to have a plethora of plays in the Liga Primera, but hopefully we can get out of with some winners and in the black.
When the sports landscape resumes to normal, or at least halfway normal without fans in attendance, I highly doubt you’re going to be finding many Nicaragua Liga Primera picks at The Sports Geek. So, enjoy it while it lasts because they’re not going to be here for long. Well, at least we hope that everything returns to some form of normalcy soon.
No one knows when that will happen, so not here for long could mean a couple of months or longer. Note that the Nicaragua Piga Primera is well into their season. The Belarusian Premier League is still in the early stages of their campaign, but they’re well under way in Nicaragua.
Each team in the Liga Primera has played 12 games going into Wednesday. The fixtures continue to get more important as we get deeper into the season. That’s especially true for Juventus Managua, who are 6th and currently in the playoffs if they were to begin today.
The top-6 teams in the regular season advance to the playoffs. No, this isn’t Juventus from Italy. You’re not going to find Ronaldo on Juventus Managua, if you are new to football betting and just know the name Juventus and not much else. I think Nicaaragua and a record of 3-4-5 should give it away that this isn’t the better known Juventus.
The Italian Juventus are a heavyweight, though Juventus in Nicaragua has some work to do if they want to see the playoffs. They challenge Chinandega on Wednesday, which will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m. EST. Head below for our free Chinandega vs. Juventus Managua pick on April 1, 2020.
Chinandega vs. Juventus Managua Betting Odds:
Chinandega vs. Juventus Managua Prediction:
Juventus head into Wednesday with a record of 3-4-5 and 13 points. They have the tiebreaker over Real Madriz for the final playoff spot who also has 13 points going into this week. Sitting immediately behind them is Chinandega with a record of 3-3-6 and 12 points. It’s been a while since Chinandega has won a game, as they continue to fall into disrepair recently.
Their most recent victory was on March 15 against Real Madriz, which was five matches ago. Chinandega has lost three matches and drew once since that win over Real Madriz. They’re coming off a humiliating performance versus Walter Ferretti. Chinandega got hammered for a 7-0 loss on the road.
Chinandega had allowed 8 goals and scored none in their previous two fixtures. If they want to get into the playoffs of the Liga Primera, something is going to have to change fast. Their recent slide has put them in negative territory with a goal differential of -10. They’re one of four teams in the league who are in the negative with regard to goal differential in 2019-20.
Juventus are holding tough with an even goal differential at +0. They’ve been up and down recently, with two wins and two losses in their previous four games. That’s fairly consistent with what we know about Juventus. They are an average outfit that is not going to compete with the top teams, but can handle weaker foes.
In their most recent outing, Juventus fell to Municipal Jalapa, 2-0. Prior to that, they had a 4-0 win over Walter Ferretti, the same team that steamrolled Chinandega, 7-0. They also have a big win over Las Sabanas by a score of 5-0 on March 18. Both of their recent losses came against clubs above the .500 mark. Their 4-2 loss was against Managua, the league leaders with 28 points.
Chinandega are averaging just 0.9 goals per match, while conceding 1.67 goals per match. They’ve been allowing a lot of goals recently, but their main issue throughout the season has been a lack of offence. They should continue to struggle against a Juventus club that has conceded just 1.13 goals per match. I’m looking at a 2-1 win for Juventus Managua on Wednesday.
