This is a very special Boxing Day matchday we got here! The King Power Stadium is all set for Man Utd. vs. Leicester clash; the second Premier League team going up against the third PL team. Leicester is just a point above Manchester United, with two extra goals in their for/against category. As always, our Leicester vs. Manchester United betting predictions will discuss everything related to participating teams. This one is special, though, since it’s the last soccer pick in 2020!

Yep, we’re all done with our soccer picks for this year! Take some time off, enjoy your spoils of war, and come back next year with a fresh mindset ready to get things running!
That said, let’s focus back on Leicester vs. Manchester United betting predictions and see what sort of conclusions we can draw from this one!
United and Leicester have met twenty-eight times thus far in the ePL. The Red Devils have taken nineteen, lost two, and drawn seven matches. A pretty clean record for United, don’t you agree?
Another interesting fact coming into this one – Leicester City have lost more games and conceded more goals against Manchester United than against any other Premier League team. Manchester United are absolutely brilliant on Boxing Day clashes. They have the highest win rate and most wins in BD contests. They have just two 26-Dec ePL losses, against Stoke in 2015 and Middlesbrough all the way back in 2002.

Manchester United Looking Superb
Manchester United are looking strong, much stronger than many had predicted before the start of the season. At the moment, Solskjaer’s men are in third place with twenty-six points, the same as Everton and one less than Leicester. They’re coming into this match with superb form, four wins and a draw in their last five Premier League encounters.
Liverpool is still at the top of the table, but if United win this one and don’t lose silly points against Wolves and Aston Villa, they’ll contest Liverpool on January 17th. That’s going to be quite the match if both sides continue with their winning ways. Back to Leicester vs. Manchester United betting predictions – the King Power Stadium ought to host an electric atmosphere for the Red Devils. Ole’s men are the favorites coming into this one, and even though the Foxes have a poor track record against United, they’ll be hoping for a draw at the very least.
United’s Champions League exit must’ve been a real wake-up call! They’re back in Europa League, set to play against Real Sociedad on February 18th. Everton cup clash is coming right up, but I’m certain United will ace it with flying marks and set up high ground ahead of the King Power Stadium battle.
Bruno Fernandes! Manchester United was searching for a proper midfielder a few seasons already, and it seems as though they’ve finally found a world-class one. Bruno Fernandes is everything Ole could’ve hoped for. The Portuguese magician has become a true maestro, an attack-minded playmaker with impeccable goalscoring and assisting talents.
Manchester United’s youth are moving up the pecking order too. Marcus Rashford is enjoying a solid season too, even though his stats might not point that out at the first glance. Five goals and four assists, not too shabby… but we know he can accomplish so much more. He has six Champions League goals, though, that has to be taken into consideration as well.

Scott McTominay has to be mentioned here. He played a perfect match against Leeds last weekend, netting two splendid goals and spreading his dominance on both ends of the pitch. The passion this boy has, it’s incredible!
One thing is certain, Ole’s tactical prowess is getting better and better. Experience means a lot, and we’re finally seeing Ole develop his strategical know-how based on the Portuguese maestro. Ole is still using his trusty 4-2-3-1, but he keeps his players more focused on the central portion of the pitch, winning the ball in the middle and creating aggressive passing in behind the central defenders. The Foxes’ defensive line is dynamic, but I’m sure United’s pace will cause plenty of issues.
Leicester Needs Another Home Win
Leicester haven’t been that lethal on their home ground, King Power Stadium. In the last five, Leicester have won two and lost three. Manchester United, on the other hand, are leading the table in away fixtures with a 100% record across six matches. Yep, looks like we already have a favorite for our Leicester vs. Manchester United betting predictions!
Needless to say, Jamie Vardy is the most important name on Leicester’s team sheet. The 33-year-old English striker has already netted eleven goals and added four additional assists to his Premier League tally. Wesley Fofana and Timothy Castagne have been nothing but superb.
Mendy and Praet need to step up. They’ve been starting relatively regularly but haven’t been all that impressive. Squad rotations come in when needed, so I reckon we might not see them against Manchester United this weekend.
Similar to Solskjaer, Brendan Rodgers also fancies his men in a dynamic 4-2-3-1 formation. He’s had plenty of success with it… I mean, he wouldn’t be in the second place otherwise. The Foxes conceded seventeen goals thus far, better than Liverpool, United, and Everton (top four teams atm). Their goalscoring efforts don’t fare that well – twenty-six goals thus far, eleven of which came from Jamie Vardy.
Well, I expect Brendan to opt for his 4-2-3-1 just like Ole, but I Expect the two central midfielders to pull back a lot. I doubt Foxes will go in too aggressively, especially knowing just how dangerous Manchester are on the break. Foul play might be a great opportunity for the Red Devils, seeing as they should be superior in the air.
Leicester vs. Manchester United Betting Predictions
I guess it’s time to wrap everything up and call it a day! We knew right off the bat this is going to be a fiery contest. It’s not every day we see the second and third-best teams go up against each other… and with just a point separating the two, we’re guaranteed a hard-fought contest from start to finish.
Nothing too fancy here, just a regular match-winner on the guests. Yep, Manchester United are coming into this one as the slight favorite, and I reckon it’s rightly so! United and Leicester go way back, and United’s h2h superiority is clear as day. Foxes know they’ll be in an uphill struggle, especially with in-form Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay on the other end. No matter how they end up in the cup against Everton, I believe Ole’s men will go home with three points in the purse!
