Beat The Geek Campus Ambassador Program
The Sports Geek is recruiting a select group of college and university students across the United States and Canada to promote our free Beat the Geek NFL contest during the 2026 football season.
As a TSG Campus Ambassador, you’ll introduce fellow students to the contest using a unique referral and QR code. You can promote Beat the Geek at tailgates, student events, club meetings, throughout residence, or on social media. Anywhere football fans gather is a great place to spread the word.
Campaign Dates: August 15 – September 15
To sign-up, please send an email to contests@thesportsgeek.com with the following information:
- Name + Age
- Province / State of Residence
- Current College / University
- A short explanation of why you’d like to be a Campus Ambassador.
Earn $500+ for Referring Students
When a Campus Ambassador earns 50+ eligible sign-ups, they will receive $500 via PayPal.
Each signature following this milestone will earn an additional $2 USD.
How TSG’s Campus Ambassador Program Works
1. Apply to Join
Complete the application and tell us a little about yourself, your school, and how you plan to promote Beat the Geek. A limited number of ambassadors will be selected from colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada.
2. Receive Your Promotional Materials
Selected ambassadors will receive:
- A unique referral link
- A personal QR code that tracks registrations
- Stickers featuring their unique QR code
- Contest FAQs and promotional guidance
- An informative guide to explain how Beat the Geek works
3. Promote Beat the Geek
Share your referral link and QR code with students who may be interested in a free NFL contest.
You’ll have the freedom to choose the promotional approach that works best on your campus. Some ideas include:
- Campus tailgates and football watch parties
- Student clubs and organizations
- Residence halls and common areas
- Fantasy football groups
- Social media posts and stories
- Conversations with friends and classmates
4. Get Paid for Verified Sign-Ups
Ambassadors who generate at least 50 verified sign-ups will receive a $500 USD payout.
After reaching 50 verified sign-ups, you’ll earn an additional $2 USD for every verified sign-up you generate. For example:
- 50 verified sign-ups: $500
- 75 verified sign-ups: $550
- 100 verified sign-ups: $600
- 150 verified sign-ups: $700
What is a Verified Sign-Up?
A verified sign-up must be a legitimate new Beat the Geek registration completed through your unique referral link or QR code.
All referrals will be reviewed after the campaign ends. Duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible registrations will not count toward your final total.
What is Beat The Geek?
Beat the Geek is a free NFL pick’em contest from The Sports Geek. Contestants make weekly NFL spread picks and compete for prizes throughout the season. $500 is given to the top performer each week, and each week you “Beat The Geek” (i.e. score higher than our betting AI), you earn an entry for an NFL Vacation Package for Two.
There is no purchase required to participate*, making it an easy contest to share with football fans, sports clubs, fantasy leagues, and other students on campus.
*Open to residents of the Contiguous U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec). Subject to applicable state and provincial laws. Full contest rules apply.
Is Being a TSG Campus Ambassador Right for You?
The Campus Ambassador Program may be a good fit for you if you:
- Are currently enrolled at a college or university in the U.S. or Canada.
- Enjoy NFL football, sports, fantasy leagues, or campus events.
- Are comfortable talking to fellow students.
- Have access to student groups, clubs, residence halls, or social communities.
- Can promote Beat The Geek between August 15 and September 15.
