- A gambler made a large bet that a sex toy would be thrown on the court at a WNBA game.
- The wager won, after a sex toy was thrown during the game between Fever and Sparks on Tuesday night.
- Allegedly, the gambler, who collected $6,000, threw the sex toy themselves.
A gambler on Polymarket, a crypto betting exchange, made a large bet that a sex toy would be thrown on the court at a WNBA game. On Tuesday, one was thrown at a game between the Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks, resulting in a $6,000 profit for the user called “gigachadsolana”.
According to some comments on Polymarket and social media, the same person actually threw the item on the court to win the wager, or at least organized it.
Before we continue with this news story, we feel obliged to share our opinion on the act: don’t throw ANY objects when you’re attending a sporting event. It’s not only disrespectful, but it’s dangerous and could hurt the athletes. Just be civil, it’s not that hard.
Gambler Makes $6K, Allegedly Throwing the Object Themselves
Polymarket posted on Tuesday night that a gambler cashed out on a $6,000 bet when a “foreign object” hit the court at a WNBA game.
This is the latest in a string of incidents at WNBA games where these objects are thrown on the floor. This isn’t even the only incident from Tuesday’s games. The sex toy made it to the floor in Los Angeles at the Fever-Sparks game, while there were unsuccessful attempts at other games, where the toy didn’t reach the floor.
The first incident was last Tuesday, when it happened in Atlanta. Delbert Carver is charged with a number of counts attached to this. It looks like the first one was just a random act, but the attempt to throw sex toys at multiple games yesterday looks suspicious.
The plot thickened even further when it was alleged that “gigachadsolana” admitted to throwing the object themselves.

We should also note that Polymarket is currently closed to US residents, and we can’t verify the events of this story. Still, people can get around this with VPNs and other methods, or just hire someone else to do the deed.
By the looks of it, multiple people might be behind this, if we consider the attempts at other NBA games on the same night.
Bookies Assume More Throws Might Be Coming
The object-throwing saga might continue, according to the betting sites. There are three markets available at BetOnline, including the first person the sex toy will touch when it hits the court, and the color of the toy.
We hope this ends soon, and if the story about the gambler doing it themselves is true, it goes to show that you should be extra careful when placing weird bets online. If there’s an opportunity for the bet to be manipulated, someone will probably do it.
