As the golf season starts to heat up with the first Signature Event, the 2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds offer bettors strong value in the outright winner market. Many of the PGA Tour’s biggest names, including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele, will be teeing it up in Pebble Beach, California.
In this preview, I break down the latest odds, highlight the top contenders, and share my favorite Pebble Beach Pro-Am predictions.
PGA Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2026 Odds
Here are the latest Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner odds, courtesy of Lucky Rebel:
| PLAYER | ODDS |
|---|---|
| Scottie Scheffler | +300 |
| Rory McIlroy | +1200 |
| Si Woo Kim | +2200 |
| Tommy Fleetwood | +2200 |
| Xander Schauffele | +2200 |
| Russell Henley | +2500 |
| Viktor Hovland | +2500 |
| Chris Gotterup | +2800 |
| Hideki Matsuyama | +2800 |
| Justin Rose | +2800 |
According to top golf betting sites, Scottie Scheffler (+300) is the clear betting favorite to win the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. At +300, Scheffler has a 25% implied probability to win, which is high for a Signature Event.
Rory McIlroy (+1200) is the only golfer with a realistic chance of challenging Scottie Scheffler, per the Pebble Beach Pro-Am betting odds. The 36-year-old Northern Irishman has a 7.7% implied probability of defending his title. He’s opened a season with three victories on multiple occasions in his career, most recently at last year’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Beyond Scheffler and McIlroy, the rest of the field is priced as underdogs this week. Si Woo Kim (+2200), Tommy Fleetwood (+2200), and Xander Schauffele (+2200) form the second tier of contenders, each with a 4.4% implied probability of winning.
PGA Pebble Beach Pro-Am Favorites
Scheffler and McIlroy are front runners to win the top prize out of the huge $20 million purse at Pebble Beach. Let’s break down the top favorites before making my 2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am picks:
Scottie Scheffler (+300)
Scottie Scheffler arrives at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am as the undisputed top player in the field, and the numbers fully support that status. Ranked as the No. 1 golfer in the world, per the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), he’s the easy choice to insert as betting favorite.
In 2025, he led the PGA Tour in SG: Total, SG: Approach to Green, and SG: Tee-to-Green, separating himself from the rest of the field with elite ball-striking and relentless consistency. That form has carried into 2026, where he currently ranks first in SG: Total and third in SG: Off-the-Tee, signaling that his game hasn’t missed a beat, despite early struggles in Phoenix this past week.

Scheffler has won seven of his last 13 PGA Tour starts, including a victory at The American Express, and he continues to place himself in contention almost every time he tees it up. From a pure performance standpoint, he is the safest option on the board. The concern for bettors lies in the price and the event itself.
Scheffler has never won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and the Pro-Am format can introduce added volatility that limits predictability. At +300, there’s little margin for error, making him a dominant favorite but not necessarily the value bet.
Rory McIlroy (+1200)
Rory McIlroy enters the Pebble Beach Pro-Am as the defending champion and one of the most intriguing value plays in the outright market. Despite this being his first PGA Tour start of 2026, McIlroy closed last season in strong form, finishing inside the top three in three of his final five tournaments on the European Tour.

In 2025, he ranked third in SG: Total and fourth in SG: Off-the-Tee, reaffirming that his elite driving and ball-striking remain major strengths. One of the most encouraging signs for McIlroy has been his improved putting, an area that once held him back but has shown steady progress over the past two seasons.
His course history at Pebble Beach is highlighted by last year’s win, though it hasn’t been flawless, as evidenced by a 66th-place finish two years ago. Still, at +1200, the 2025 Masters winner offers far more upside relative to risk, especially in a tournament where experience and comfort on the greens can be decisive.

2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am Predictions and Betting Pick
Scheffler as a huge favorite is understandable given his potential. That being said, I’m not ecstatic in paying +300 odds on Scheffler winning this tournament. If he gets behind and a larger price opens up, then he might be worth a look in the live betting markets.
As it stands now, I recommend passing on Scheffler at +300. Instead, McIlroy is jumping off the board to win at +1200 odds. He should have the second shortest odds, but I think a price of +800 is more accurate in this spot.
McIlroy finished 21-under par to secure the victory at last year’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am. During the PGA offseason, he’s enjoyed plenty of success on the European Tour and should remain in contention this week.
As my best Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner pick, McIlroy stands out as a solid play at +1200 odds.
