2025-26 Conference League Winner Odds and Prediction – Can Palace go All the Way?

The UEFA Conference League winner odds for the 2025-26 season are favoring Crystal Palace after another English team, Chelsea, won it last year. Will the trophy head back to England once again?

I’ll examine the Conference League title odds for this season, looking at some favorites, contenders, and a longshot. When I’m done, I’ll share my Conference League winner prediction!

Soccer betting sites have Crystal Palace (+500) and Fiorentina (+500) as the campaign gets underway. The two clubs have an implied probability of 16.7% to win the Conference League, even though they’ve had opposite starts to their domestic leagues.

Strasbourg (+700) is right behind them with an implied probability of 12.5%, while Rayo Vallecano (+900) and Shakhtar Donetsk (+900) sit at 10%. It’s quite close at the top, although two teams stand out more than others!

Conference League Betting Favorites

Let’s start by looking at the three favorites to win the Conference League!

Crystal Palace (+500)

In the four years that the Conference League has existed, English teams have won twice (West Ham in 2023, Chelsea in 2025). Crystal Palace looks to become the third team, and build off their FA Cup last season.

They beat Manchester City in the FA Cup Final at the end of the previous campaign, and then edged Liverpool on penalties in the Community Shield to start this season.

Palace did lose Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, but are still third in the Premier League. Marc Guehi leads a strong defense, although he could be off to Liverpool in January. Jean-Philippe Mateta has four goals, while Ismaila Sarr has three to start the season. Midfielder Adam Wharton is getting looks from bigger clubs.

Palace’s strength comes from manager Oliver Glasner, who joined the team in February 2024 and led them to their first trophies since Palace won the Second Division (now the Championship) in 1994. He is one of the best coaches in England, and is excellent at crafting gameplans for specific opponents.

Given their performances under Glasner in big games so far, it’s apt that Crystal Palace are co-favorites in the 2025-26 Conference League odds! They should be the favorites by themselves, frankly.

Fiorentina (+500)

Fiorentina shares the top Conference League price with Palace, and they’ve had hard luck in this competition. They lost 2-1 to West Ham in the 2023 final, and then 1-0 in extra time to Olympiacos in 2024.

Fiorentina has gotten off to a terrible start in Serie A under manager Stefano Pioli, who returned to the club after stints at AC Milan and Al Nassr. They have lost three and drawn two of their first five games, so they need to improve fast to achieve their goals for the season.

There is talent at Fiorentina, but they’ve scored three times in five league games. Moise Kean, Albert Gudmundsson, and the aging Edin Dzeko have zero goals between them. Nicolo Fagioli hasn’t added much as well. Failing to get out of the league phase would be fatal for Pioli.

Talent-wise, Fiorentina should be near the top of the Conference League odds, but their start hasn’t been encouraging. I would avoid their price right now.

Strasbourg (+700)

Strasbourg lost some important players from last year’s team, including Habib Diarra and Mamadou Sarr. But they’re fifth in Ligue 1 in France to start the season, winning four and losing two of their first six games.

A pair of 22-year-old forwards are giving Strasbourg high hopes as Joaquin Panichelli (three) and Emanuel Emegha (two) have combined for five goals. 18-year-old Kendry Páez and 19-year-old Guemissongui Ouattara have also scored.

Manager Liam Rosenior has a very young team on his hands, which could hurt later in the competition. But they’re extremely talented, and Strasbourg is a team to watch. I prefer their 2025-26 Conference League odds much more than Fiorentina’s.

Conference League Betting Contenders

Next, I’ll look at three teams I think are contenders if the top trio slip up!

Rayo Vallecano (+900)

Like Fiorentina, Rayo Vallecano has stumbled out of the starting blocks. They’ve won just one of their first seven games in La Liga, and have been inconsistent at both ends of the pitch.

Jorge de Frutos and Alvaro Garcia have scored two goals apiece, but Rayo Vallecano can be exposed defensively, allowing ten goals in La Liga. Head coach Inigo Perez has some work to do with this team.

I think their Conference League odds are a little overvalued. On paper, they should be better than they are and will likely make it out of the group phase. But I wouldn’t expect a lot, given how poor Rayo’s defense is. One bad in the game in the knockouts would be enough to end their run, and such a leaky team is bound to have it.

Shakhtar Donetsk (+900)

Shakhtar Donetsk have won five and drawn two of their first seven games to kick off the Ukrainian Premier League. No team but Shakhtar and Dynamo Kyiv has won that league since 1992.

Manager Arda Turan took over for Marino Pusic after finishing third in Ukraine, and Shakhtar has lost once in 16 games to start the campaign. Pedrinho has played well, along with Isaque, keeping with the tradition of Brazilians playing in Ukraine. Another Brazilian, 18-year-old Luca Meirelles, has looked good as well.

I like Shakhtar’s chances more than Rayo Vallecano’s and even Fiorentina’s, so there is some good value in their Conference League odds. I don’t know if I would trust them to beat Crystal Palace, but Shakhtar is a good team that seems to have built a rapport quickly under Turan.

Mainz (+1000)

Mainz hail from the Bundesliga in Germany, where they’ve won just one of their first five league games. They struggled down the stretch last season when it looked like they might even make the Champions League, and that has continued on to this season.

Five different players have scored a goal for Mainz this season, so manager Bo Henriksen will aim to get his team filling the net. Kaishu Sano has added an assist for Mainz, who did lose 2-1 at Rosenberg in qualifying, which isn’t encouraging.

Mainz would have to get hot to earn my trust and my Conference League betting pick. I think they get out of the league phase, but unless a striker finds some form, that could even be up in the air.

Conference League Betting Longshot

Longshots don’t often go far in this competition, but there is one team whose Conference League odds I’m intrigued by!

Dynamo Kyiv (+2000)

Dynamo Kyiv are the other Ukrainian powerhouse, having won 17 Premier League titles to 15 for Shakhtar Donetsk. They have yet to lose a game in the Ukrainian League thus far.

They’re a balanced attack, with Vitaliy Buyalskiy’s five goals leading the way. But manager Oleksandr Shovkovskiy has to shore up his team at the back, as Dynamo Kyiv can ship goals in a hurry. They’re opening up their Conference League campaign hosting Crystal Palace. That will be a good barometer of how they can perform in this competition.

Ultimately, I think defense will be this team’s downfall. But if they can be even just a little better at the back, Dynamo Kyiv’s Conference League odds can provide a terrific return!

2025-26 Conference League Betting Pick and Prediction

I’m making Crystal Palace my Conference League betting prediction, and I would jump on their odds of +500 now before they go down. I feel Oliver Glasner is the best manager in the competition, I think they have the most talent from front to back, and they have a good mix of youth and experience throughout the team.

Furthermore, they’re not good enough to stay in third place in England, so they won’t be focused entirely on the EPL battle as the season progresses. But they’re the best team in this competition, and a win would put them in the Europa League, avoiding the drama of this summer.
