The Mavericks will be on the clock….or will they? They could choose to trade the #1 pick, but for the purpose of examining these 2025 NBA Draft odds, we’ll assume the teams keep their picks. In that case, Flagg is the surefire #1 pick after winning National Player of the Year, and has been all season long.

It’ll be tough to win over whatever is left of the Dallas fanbase after the Doncic trade. But Flagg has the potential to be a special player, and some are comparing him to Scottie Pippen. He’s excellent on both ends of the floor, he can score, he can pass, and he loves playing in big games.

Flagg’s NBA Draft odds to go off the board at No. 1 were already high, but they’ve exploded recently. The big 6’9” forward from Duke’s price has skyrocketed to -100000! Flagg previously had -20000 odds, so an already absurd price has turned into as close to a lock as you can get.

In short, Flagg’s implied probability has improved from 99.5% to 99.9%! So, is there anything preventing him from going to Dallas? Yes! But that is going to require Flagg suffering a career-ending injury or another major health problem (hopefully, that won’t be the case!). That is where the 0.1% comes in here.

I won’t recommend a bet on Flagg as -100000 offers virtually no return. But whoever is picking first, Flagg will be the first name called by commissioner Adam Silver on June 25!

2025 NBA Draft Spurs’ Pick (2nd Overall) Prediction: Dylan Harper (-2500)

The Spurs are a darkhorse in the Giannis next team odds. But that doesn’t mean they won’t try and convince Milwaukee that the second pick, along with other assets, would be enough.

If they keep the pick (the Spurs also have the 14^th pick), the Spurs should take Dylan Harper, who has long been considered the second-best prospect behind Flagg. The issue is, the Spurs already have a full backcourt with De’Aaron Fox and Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle.

But they should just take the best talent on the board and take Harper, who showed a nice all-around game at Rutgers, despite a lack of team success (which wasn’t all his fault).

He can get to the rim, and at 6’6”, Harper is big for a lead guard. He’s also the son of Ron Harper, who played 16 years in the NBA and won five titles alongside the likes of Michael Jordan, Pippen, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kobe Bryant. Dylan has grown up in the NBA life, so he’ll be well-prepared for what’s ahead.

Additionally, public sentiment, and therefore, the NBA Draft 2025 odds on Harper being drafted with the second pick, have been growing. In mid-May, Harper was a -2000 favorite to go after Flagg, and now he owns a -2500 price. So, the Rutgers star has an implied probability of 96.2%, up slightly from 95.2%!

Again, at -2500, I wouldn’t recommend a wager on these NBA Draft 2025 odds. But Harper would be my prediction for the second pick.

2025 NBA Draft 76ers’ Pick Odds and Prediction: Ace Bailey (-110)

Now, I will recommend a bet on the third pick, which is currently owned by the Philadelphia 76ers. They’ll consider Tre Johnson out of Texas, but they have Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain in the backcourt.

We’re going to talk a lot about Ace Bailey in the next month and a half (and perhaps much longer).

I’m predicting the 76ers take Harper’s teammate at Rutgers, Ace Bailey, with the third pick! There are some discrepancies in terms of Bailey’s height, as he was listed as 6’10”, but measured at around 6’8” at the draft combine. But Bailey is a great athlete that can get his shot off, although he wasn’t always engaged on the defensive end.

He’ll be surrounded by talented veterans, and if Bailey chooses to listen to them, he’ll learn a lot. The rookie won’t have the pressure to produce right away, and I think this is the right call for them. At -110, there’s a bit of a value on Bailey’s NBA Draft 2025 odds at #3 to the 76ers!

Earlier this month, we bet on Bailey to get the win at +225 odds. On May 13, he had a 30.8% implied probability to be picked with the third pick. Currently, at -110, Bailey has better than a coin flip’s chance at 52.4%. In any event, the Chattanooga, TN, native still has solid value for your NBA Draft betting picks at -110.
