Golden State Valkyries vs. New York Liberty: Liberty -3 (-112)
The Liberty (23-15) are rolling right now. Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, and Sabrina Ionescu are all playing well, and that kind of top-to-bottom star power is exactly what you want when you’re laying points at home. New York is 9-8 against the spread as a home favorite this season, which isn’t flashy, but it’s solid enough to trust at a modest three-point line.

The Valkyries (27-11) deserve respect here. They’re 5-3 as a road underdog and have won eight of their last ten games overall, so they’re a team playing confident, winning basketball. Under normal circumstances, this would be a much trickier spot for New York. But circumstances aren’t normal. Golden State played in Connecticut last night, and the back-to-back road travel grind is a real factor, even though Golden State blew out the Sun and were able to pull their starters early. Still, fatigue affects execution, especially late in games when you need to execute on both ends.
Three points isn’t a big number to lay, and that works in our favor. The Liberty don’t need to blow Golden State out, they just need to be the fresher, sharper team for 40 minutes. With their star trio clicking and the Valkyries running on fumes from a night before game, New York is the right side here at WNBA betting sites.
Washington Mystics vs. Phoenix Mercury: Mystics -4 (-112)
Washington (23-15) is rolling right now. The Mystics have won seven of their last ten games overall, and their core trio of Shakira Austin, Sonia Citron, and Kiki Iriafen is playing some of the best basketball in the league. That combination of size, skill, and chemistry is a nightmare matchup for a Phoenix (13-25) team that has dropped seven of its last ten and just surrendered a 10-point home loss to these same Mystics on Tuesday.

The ATS numbers tell the same story. Washington is 4-2 ATS as a road favorite, showing they know how to win and cover when they’re expected to. Phoenix, on the other hand, is a brutal 2-6 ATS as a home underdog. That’s a team that not only loses in this spot, but loses badly enough that it doesn’t even keep games close.
The spot matters, too. After losing to Washington by double digits just days ago, the Mercury are in a tough mental place heading into this rematch. There’s no reason to believe Phoenix finds a spark at home when they couldn’t generate one in front of the same crowd earlier this week. Fade the losing team in a quick rematch. It’s that straightforward, and I’m surprised the line isn’t higher.
