Atlanta Dream (-2.5) vs. Dallas Wings (-110)
Atlanta (1-0) opened the season with a strong road statement, beating Minnesota 91-90 behind 24 points from Allisha Gray. Angel Reese had a physical 11-point, 14-rebound effort in her Atlanta debut. Led by Reese, the Dream outrebounded Minnesota 46-25.

Dallas (1-0) deserves credit for surviving Indiana in a 107-104 shootout, with Arike Ogunbowale scoring 22 and Paige Bueckers adding 20. Still, that type of high-scoring home win does not erase the concerns on the other end. In 2025, only Los Angeles allowed more points than the Wings.
The Dream already showed they can close a tight game away from home, and their balance between Gray’s scoring and Reese’s work on the glass gives them the cleaner profile here. With the number sitting at just 2.5 at WNBA betting sites, Atlanta is the solid pick on the road.
New York Liberty (-12) vs. Portland Fire
New York (2-0) needed overtime to get past Washington 98-93, but the Liberty still showed exactly why they remain one of the league’s most dangerous teams. Marine Johannes caught fire from deep with 25 points and six made threes. Breanna Stewart filled every category with 23 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks.

Portland’s (0-1) WNBA debut told a different story. The expansion Fire dropped a 98-83 game to Chicago and were completely overwhelmed on the glass, losing the rebounding battle 46-24. Carla Leite led the way with 18 points, but Portland struggled to match Chicago’s physicality for long stretches.
That becomes an even bigger concern against a Liberty roster loaded with scoring depth and defensive versatility. New York can beat teams from the perimeter or inside, and Portland already showed vulnerability in both areas.
Laying the points with the Liberty on the road is the play here in the first of back-to-back games in Portland.
