Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), October 14
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Doosan Bears vs. LG Twins: Bears (-115)
The Doosan Bears offer strong value on the moneyline against the LG Twins, with ace Gwak Been giving them a significant advantage on the mound. Gwak has been one of the KBO’s most dominant pitchers this season, and his track record against LG makes Doosan an attractive pick.
Gwak enters the matchup with a 2.24 ERA and 1.04 WHIP across 27 starts. He has been especially effective against the Twins, posting a 1.96 ERA against them in 2026. His recent form is just as impressive, allowing two or fewer runs in nine consecutive outings and surrendering one run or none in each of his last three appearances.
Been Gwak continued his dominance this weekend. He went 7 shutout innings with 8 K and just 1 hit allowed. He leads the KBO with a 2.33 ERA and 161 strikeouts. If he keeps current pace, he’d be the first Korean-born starter to post a sub-2.40 ERA and 10.7 K/9 in KBO history pic.twitter.com/do8LgtrR3t

LG counters with Carlos Carrasco, who has put together a solid first season in the KBO with a 4.05 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. However, Carrasco has struggled recently, giving up 10 earned runs across his last three starts. That downturn puts additional pressure on the Twins to keep pace with Doosan’s offense.
The Bears also hold a slight edge in team batting average, hitting .267 compared with LG’s .264. With the offenses closely matched, Gwak’s consistency and dominant results against the Twins could prove decisive.
Back the Doosan Bears moneyline at -115. Gwak’s elite season and outstanding recent form make Doosan the side to back for one of the best KBO bets today.
