The Traitors odds are here for Season 5 of the United States version! The reigning three-time Emmy winner for Outstanding Reality Competition Program returned with a vengeance on September 8. Now, it’s time to make some predictions on who will win this season, titled “New Blood”.
I’ll sift through the Traitors odds for the remaining players, and look at some favorites, contenders, and longshots before giving you my Traitors predictions!

A pair of Traitors sit at the top of the Traitors Season 5 odds at entertainment betting sites! Joe (+300) and Tomica (+400) lead the way with implied probabilities of 25% and 20%, respectively. But Faithfuls Abby (+600) and Ben (+800) aren’t far behind.
Joe and Tomica recruited a third Traitor, and they chose Katie (+1000) over Xavier for the final spot. But will she last long in the turret?

The Traitors Episode 3 and 4 Recap
The Traitors Season 5 kicked off with two weeks of two episodes each. On September 24, Episode 3 started with Joe and Tomica having to choose between Katie and Xavier, who had to find murder warrants hidden in the castle.
Xavier tried to say that Katie already had heat on her in the castle, but the Traitors thought that was a little too strong, and that he could turn on them easily. So, they chose Katie.
In the mission, Michael and Ben chose an option that allowed them a hint, which was that two players had battled in plain sight to be the next Traitor, so everyone started being suspicious of everyone else.
At the roundtable, it seemed that Katie and Victor were on the block. But then the group started going after Arisa, whose strange “human lie detector” test on Victor didn’t work. Abby also said that she was sure Arisa had a shield, and everyone jumped on board. Arisa picked up 13 votes to be banished, and she revealed she was a Faithful.
In the turret, the Traitors had to decide who to murder, and they chose Logan, who was onto Katie as he had heard Xavier mention her name. The next morning, Jay reveals he has a strategy to name people, but only at the roundtable. He thinks this will keep him in the game as a shield for the Traitors, but many Faithfuls aren’t happy with this strategy. The group banks $12,000 in the next mission.
Jay mentioned Kristie’s name at the end of the mission, but switched to Katie when the episode ends. It remains to be seen if he’s already rubbed too many of his fellow Faithfuls the wrong way.
The Traitors US Betting Prediction and Pick
It’s still early, but I’ve been impressed with how Joe has been playing the game. He comes off as very trustworthy and lovable, and I don’t think anyone suspects him as of right now. He’s the betting favorite in the Traitors odds for a reason, and he’s my pick going into Episode 5 on Thursday, October 8.

Instead, I’ll choose the third Traitors betting prop, which is, “who will be voted out first in Episode 5”. I’m taking Jay at +400, even if he goes after Katie.
There are players in past seasons who have been voted out for one of two reasons: they’re annoying, or they’re not good Faithfuls. Jay seems to fit the bill for both. He may drop some breadcrumbs towards Katie on the way out, but his strategy of causing chaos could work against him.
