Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar Odds and Prediction
- Oba Femi (-3000)
- Brock Lesnar (+700)
This seems like it’ll be a passing of the torch, as Femi has been touted as the next big thing (coincidently, Lesnar’s nickname in his 2002 debut) in WWE. Lesnar “retired” when he lost to Femi at WrestleMania 42, taking off his gloves and boots and leaving them in the ring. But “The Beast Incarnate” returned to beat Femi in the Clash in Italy in May.
Since then, Femi won the King of the Ring tournament to earn a title shot at SummerSlam, but he was ambushed by Lesnar on the next episode of Raw. Femi was incensed and challenged the veteran to this match, to which, Lesnar upped the ante and requested a Hell in a Cell match.
It also makes sense that this could be Lesnar’s “last” match as it’s in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he has been billed out of. The wrestler also went to the University of Minnesota, where he won the 2000 NCAA wrestling championship.
WWE will want Lesnar to put Femi over by losing to “The Ruler”, although Lesnar will hit a number of F-5s in the contest. It would be the biggest shock of the two-day card if Lesnar were to pull off the win, but at -3000, I would only take Oba Femi’s 2026 WWE SummerSlam odds to parlay them with something.
Jacob Fatu and the Usos vs. LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys Odds and Prediction
- Jacob Fatu and the Usos (-300)
- LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys (+200)
The Bloodline, Jacob Fatu and the Usos are the favorites in this six-man tag-team match, but I don’t know what a win gets them here. Solo Sikoa has been battling with his brothers, the Usos, and his cousin, Fatu.
Royce Keys is friends with Fatu, and he just joined WWE from AEW in January, making his debut at the Royal Rumble. LA Knight was a former teammate of the Uso, but he made the challenged to the Bloodline for this match.
If the WWE wants this feud to continue and get more juice, the win should go to Knight, Sikoa, and Keys. A Bloodline win wouldn’t really do much for them, and it would sap this confrontation of any energy it could have. So, let’s take the return and take Knight, Sikoa, and Keys, who I think have enough of an opportunity to win at +200.
CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes Odds and Prediction
- CM Punk (-350)
- Cody Rhodes (+225)
CM Punk returned to action on July 3 to replace Cody Rhodes, and subsequently beat Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Rhodes challenged Punk on the following episode of SmackDown.
However, the two had to team up to face Zayn and Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Had they lost, it would have become a Fatal Four-Way match, but Rhodes and Punk won to keep it between themselves.
Punk just won the title, so it would be strange if he lost it already. This would also stretch out this feud a little while longer. WWE could take this feud all the way to Survivor Series in November, given the popularity of Punk and Rhodes. You’re also getting a little more value on Punk as he was -600 to start the week, but is now down to -350.
Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky Odds and Prediction
- Liv Morgan (-200)
- Iyo Sky (+150)
Liv Morgan was the Women’s World Champion (on the Raw brand), but she also entered the Night of Champions bracket to try to win WWE Women’s Championship (on the SmackDown brand). She lost to Iyo Sky in the final in Saudi Arabia, and Sky promptly turned around and challenged Morgan for her Raw belt.
The WWE SummerSlam odds are close because of Sky’s win over Morgan, but I can’t see Morgan losing the title in this spot. Sky is deserving of the belt, but I can see Stephanie Vaquer returning at SummerSlam to become involved in this match, as she wants Morgan. Therefore, I’m going with the favorite in my WWE SummerSlam predictions.
Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins Odds and Prediction
- Roman Reigns (-1500)
- Seth Rollins (+600)
Reigns won the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk in an acclaimed match at WrestleMania 42. After a pair of wins over Fatu, he put the Bloodline back together as its Tribal Chief. Enter Seth Rollins, who was in The Shield with Reigns, but turned on the champion.
Rollins claimed this could be Reigns’ last chance to beat him, although he has publicly said he’s not thinking about retirement. He has been seen as a guest host on The Rich Eisen Show, so Rollins is obviously thinking about life after the ring.
However, I don’t think he’ll get it done in this match. Rollins has beaten Reigns in a few high-profile matches, including winning the World Heavyweight Championship in 2016 at Money in the Bank.
On the flipside, Reigns has beaten Rollins in singles matches on Raw, but not in any PLEs (Premium Live Events). I think this is the time that Reigns will get it done in a big match against Rollins, and this is a good pick to put into a parlay.
