The EFL Cup 2026 Final odds are very close, confirming the expectations for a tight game between Arsenal and Manchester City. The stakes will be high in this one, as the clash could impact other competitions.
These two are fighting for the EPL title as well, while Arsenal are currently still in the hunt for an unprecedented quadruple. I’m sure that Man City will be desperate to stop them on Sunday, but can they do it?
Let’s explore the latest odds and analyze both sides, before I share my EFL Cup Final prediction and betting picks.
English League Cup Final 2026 Odds: Arsenal vs. Man City
Here’s an overview of the main betting markets for the EFL Cup Final.
| Outcome | Odds |
|---|---|
| Arsenal to win | +125 |
| Man City to win | +195 |
| Draw | +220 |
| Arsenal -0.25 | +101 |
| Man City +0.25 | -120 |
| Over 2.5 | -105 |
| Under 2.5 | -117 |
I’m not surprised to see fairly close EFL Cup Final odds for both sides. Arsenal is a slight favorite, which is also expected given the team’s consistency since the start of the season.
The bookies also expect some goals in this one, but not too many, setting the totals line at 2.5 goals. If you already see something you like, you can find the League Cup Final odds above by opening Lucky Rebel and navigating to Sports > Soccer > England EFL Cup.
Arsenal – A Season for the History Books?
The talk about a historical quadruple that would be first in English soccer history have intensified recently. Arsenal’s run in all competitions has been very impressive, even if the team’s style is not always pleasing.
The Gunners are still unlikely to win all four tournaments this year, but the fact they are favored in all of them in the middle of March deserve immense respect. A win against City on Sunday is crucial under the circumstances, as it will lift Arsenal even further and sink their main EPL rival.
That’s why I expect from Mikel Arteta to send his best players on the pitch, with one exception. Backup goalie Kepa has earned a starting spot in this final after playing in all EFL Cup games so far. This shouldn’t be a big deal, though, as City will likely start Trafford for similar reasons.
Outside of that, Arsenal should be close to their best. The team is currently full of confidence, the defense is probably the best in Europe, and the attack is not as one-dimensional as people think.
Set pieces remain a consistent source of goals, but we’ve seen Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres add an extra level from open play recently. If you add the amazing midfield duo of Rice and Zubimendi, Arsenal look like a machine ready for greatness.
Man City – Can Desperation Lead to a Huge Victory?
Something’s off with Man City this season once again. The team is better than last year after getting some good players in the last few transfer windows, but this is not the juggernaut that used to dominate the European soccer scene.
Pep Guardiola still has an elite squad, but finding the right balance has been an issue. The team is very inconsistent in terms of results and performances. Even within single games against weaker opponents, you could see City dominate certain periods and then struggle to keep control of the game.
It’s weird how a team that thrived on suffocating the opposition with almost constant ball possession is unable to control the tempo nowadays. Passing is not as smooth as it used to be, Rodri is not the same player after the injury, and the defense can be vulnerable.
And yet, Manchester City remains a dangerous team with plenty of attacking power. More importantly, they will be desperate to win this game. I’m not sure whether winning the League Cup or stopping Arsenal’s quest for a quadruple would be more important for City, but it doesn’t really matter. A victory would achieve both.
That makes Pep’s team so dangerous in this one. With the Champions League gone and Arsenal leading in the EPL, Man City need to build some momentum for the rest of the season. The big question is whether Arsenal will let them.
2026 EFL Cup Final Arsenal vs. Man City Predictions and Best Bets
The stakes have rarely been higher in an EFL League Cup Final. Both sides will be eager to win this one, so I expect a battle all over the pitch. That’s one of my best bets for this one is to back over 3.5 cards at -162 at the best soccer betting sites.
The other would be to back Arsenal to win this one in regular time. The Gunners have suffered against Manchester City for years, losing two EPL titles to them late in the season in dramatic fashion. They will be eager to prove they are better this season.
Furthermore, the Gunners will have more confidence entering this game, so that should play a role. Add their monstrous defense, and I see enough to back Arsenal in my EFL Cup Final prediction.
