UEFA Champions League Picks Today: UCL Predictions for March 11

I’m riding the Bodo Glimt hype train for this one, I’m not gonna lie! The Norwegian side is in a super impressive run in the Champions League after beating Inter (twice), Atletico Madrid, and Manchester City to reach this stage of the tournament.

Bodo has been especially productive at home, scoring three against Atletico and Man City each. The artificial grass and the crowd support help, but there’s another huge factor behind the club’s success this year.

The Norwegian league mostly plays in the spring and summer, so the team has all the time in the world to prepare for each game. They did play a Norwegian cup game on Saturday, but overall, Bodo has the luxury to dissect each game and each scenario. In contrast, the opposition is in the middle of a tough season and carries injuries and mental fatigue into each clash.

Overall, the win against Sporting is far from guaranteed, as the Portuguese side did very well to finish 7th in the UCL group stage. However, Sporting allowed eleven goals in eight games, showing vulnerability at the back.

Bodo Glimt’s smooth ball movement and efficiency in the final third could be a serious problem. If you add the price of +150 for the home side, it’s easy to see how backing Bodo is one of the top Champions League predictions today.

The most consistent thing about both PSG and Chelsea this year is their inconsistency. You never know what to expect from both sides, so predicting this tie as a whole can be a nightmare. The reigning Champions League champions are favored, but they’ve been poor at times this season.

On the other end, Chelsea’s best games have been amazing, but the team has suffered from many lows and discipline issues.

I’m not interested at all in betting on who will win this match given the circumstances. Instead, I prefer to focus on goals. PSG have allowed two or more goals in four of their last six games. Competent teams usually find ways to create chances against them, so Chelsea should have their moments.

The same applies to PSG, as the English side has kept a grand total of ONE clean sheet in the last eleven games.

I don’t trust any of the teams to keep the opposition quiet in this one, so -117 for both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is an excellent bet.
