Despite defending for essentially the entire game, Cabo Verde only committed one foul and barely broke their defensive lines at any given moment. I expect a similar approach against Uruguay, but I’m not sure it will work this time around.

For a start, the South American team won’t be underestimating Cabo Verde this time around. They know how well the Africans defend, so I expect urgency from the first minute. Uruguay will dominate the ball and push for goals.

The entire setup of the match is tailor-made for Darwin Nunez to be in the eye of the storm. The forward’s chaotic nature usually leads to chances when the opposition defends so deep, as he moves really well without the ball and finds space even against teams that defend in numbers.
