Europa League 2025 Final Odds: Who Will Save the Season?

Europa League 2025 Final Odds: Who Will Save the Season?

The 2025 Europa League Final odds clearly show that predicting a winner in this one will be tough. Both Manchester United and Tottenham desperately need the trophy (and the Champions League spot it brings) to save their season, but only one team can do it.

The stakes are as high as it gets, so it’s time to analyze the latest odds and the two teams before I share my Europa League Final prediction and betting pick for 2025.

Tottenham Hotspurs – Ange’s Job on the Line?

  • Manager: Ange Postecoglu
  • Impact Players: Micky van de Ven, Son Heung-min, Cristian Romero

The Europa League is the only potential saving grace for Ange Postecoglu and his Spurs after a nightmare season so far. The team is currently 17th in the English Premier League and could’ve easily been part of a relegation battle if the newly-promoted clubs didn’t struggle so badly.

The Spurs had plenty of injuries at different times of the campaign, but this wasn’t the only problem. The team’s inability to do the basics defensively has been a huge issue, although, it’s been slightly better in the Europa League.

There are also many question marks over manager Ange Postecoglu. He has been unable to find any stability, and his job is on the line. Many believe he should be sacked even if Spurs win, which goes to show how far Ange has fallen.

Either way, the Australian will be eager to win this game and prove the critics wrong. It would not only put an end to a long trophyless streak for the club but also deliver Champions League football next season.

A quick look at Tottenham’s injury list shows that Ange will once again have to work without key players. Kulusevski and Maddison are out, which will hurt the attack, but on the bright side, Spurs will have their best defensive players in the final.

That’s critical for a team that heavily relies on a high line. With Udogie, van de Ven, and Romero available, Spurs will be able to play their usual style and press the opposition. This should create some problems for Man United but also open up space for the Red Devils, so I expect chances for both sides.

Man United – More Madness in the Final?

  • Manager: Ruben Amorim
  • Impact Players: Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Manuel Ugarte

Ruben Amorim’s arrival brought hope to Manchester United fans in the summer, but most of the positive sentiment is gone towards the end of the season. The team’s Premier League stats are nothing short of abysmal.

Part of the problem is that the Portuguese manager inherited a dysfunctional squad, but his desire to keep playing a system that doesn’t work with the current players is not helping either.

Man United often look disjointed and incapable of controlling games. On the bright side, they showed resilience to reach this final in the crazy game against Lyon.

I expect Manchester United to struggle in large periods of the final, but they should have opportunities to hurt Spurs. Bruno Fernandes can exploit Tottenham’s high line with his passing, and set pieces could cause a lot of issues as well.

2025 Europa League Final Predictions and Betting Pick

This match could go either way, so I’m not going to try and pick a winner with my Europa League final betting prediction. Instead, I’m more than happy to back the over 2.5 goals option here for a few reasons.

First of all, I don’t trust either team defensively. They can ship goals from all kinds of situations, especially since Spurs will likely play with a high line for most of the game.

Furthermore, this is a final. As soon as the first goal goes in, the losing team will be pushing hard to equalize and the game will open up big time. Overall, getting +100 for the over between these two is excellent value.

While the last EPL meeting between these two only ended in a 1-0 Spurs victory, the two teams scored a combined 10 goals in their two League Cup quarterfinals earlier this season. I expect more of the same this week, so I’m going for the over.
