The 2026 PGA Genesis Invitational odds list Scottie Scheffler as the clear favorite for this year’s tournament, but can anyone stop the world number 1? Scheffler and the rest of the field tee off for round one at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, California, on February 19th.
Let’s explore the winner and the top favorites before I share my predictions and best bets for the 100th Genesis Invitational!
PGA Genesis Invitational 2026 Winner Odds
Lucky Rebel provided the following PGA Genesis Invitational betting odds.
| Golfer | Odds |

| Scottie Scheffler | +300 |
| Rory McIlroy | +1200 |
| Tommy Fleetwood | +2000 |
| Xander Schauffele | +2000 |
| Hideki Matsuyama | +2200 |

| Cameron Young | +2800 |
| Chris Gotterup | +3500 |

| Viktor Hovland | +3500 |
The best golf betting sites have Scottie Scheffler as the 3-1 favorite to win the 100th Genesis Invitational, which implies a 25% of a victory for the world number 1. Despite his dominance on other courses, Scheffler has never won this event.
After him, the odds drop quickly. Rory McIlroy has the next-best odds at +1200. Like Scheffler, McIlroy is searching for his first Genesis Invitational of his legendary career.
Tommy Fleetwood (+2000), Xander Schauffele (+2000), and Hideki Matsuyama (+2200) round out the top five. Matsuyama won this tournament in 2024, finishing 17 under par and beating Luke List and Will Zalatoris by three strokes.
It should be noted before you examine the Genesis Invitational 2026 odds that it is back at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. It was moved to Torrey Pines in San Diego in 2025 due to the LA wildfires.
You can find odds on almost the entire field at Lucky Rebel, as well as interesting prop bets for the Genesis Invitational.
PGA Genesis Invitational 2026 Favorites
Keep reading for a closer look at the top favorites for this year’s PGA Genesis Invitational.
Scottie Scheffler (+300)
The PGA Genesis Invitational has been far from Scottie Scheffler’s best event. In addition to never winning, he has never been the runner-up, either.

Scheffler had a respectable showing last year at Torrey Pines, finishing tied for third with Patrick Rodgers. They were both nine shots under par, three strokes behind the winner, Ludvig Åberg.
Scheffler was T10 here at Riviera in 2024, T12 in 2023, and T7 in 2022. However, he has struggled early so far this season. The Texan’s first-round scoring average is 69.33, which is tied for 93rd on the PGA Tour. He has rallied for great finishes, including a win at the American Express. But Scheffler needs to get off to better starts to rack up more victories!
Rory McIlroy (+1200)
Rory McIlroy, who is second only to Scheffler in the World Golf Rankings, has the second-best odds to win the 100th Genesis Invitational. The 36-year-old is listed at +1200 odds to win in Los Angeles this weekend.
McIlroy made the cut in 15 of his 16 starts last season, including last year’s Genesis Invitational. A strong second round in which he shot 67 had McIlroy well-positioned for the second half of the tournament. However, he was unable to maintain his strong start, finishing the tournament just three under par and tying for 17th place.
He has three top-10s at Riviera, but none since 2020, when he finished T5. The Northern Irishman has the game to compete, but his recent track record at Riviera doesn’t inspire confidence at the betting board.
Tommy Fleetwood (+2000)
Tommy Fleetwood rounds out the top three of the latest PGA Genesis Invitational betting lines at 20-1 odds. He started poorly last year, hitting a 75 in the opening round.
Not a bad way to start 2026 😏

Fleetwood quickly recovered, though, shooting 69 or better in the remaining three rounds. His final score was eight under par, tying him with Patrick Cantlay for fifth place. Fleetwood could need similar heroics to stay near the top of the leaderboard this week.
The Englishman finished T10 at Riviera in 2024, and T20 in 2023. But he’s coming off a T4 at Pebble Beach, and Fleetwood has four finishes of fourth or better in his last six worldwide starts, including a win in India in October 2025.
The odds for him are way too high, given his excellent performance in 2025. Fleetwood will be full of confidence after winning his first PGA Tour title, climbing to the top 3 in the rankings, and helping Europe win the Ryder Cup.
Best PGA Genesis Invitational Sleepers in 2026
There are plenty of exciting sleeper options in this year’s field. Here are my top longshot PGA Genesis Invitational predictions.
2026 PGA Genesis Invitational Predictions and Betting Pick
World number one Scottie Scheffler is the 3-1 favorite to win the Genesis Invitational, which is way too short from a betting perspective. The odds favor Scheffler, but Tommy Fleetwood leads my PGA Genesis Invitational best bets.
Fleetwood has struggled on this course before, but he has played the best golf of his career over the last six months, and he’s looking to keep it rolling.
If Fleetwood can recreate his strong finish from last year without recording an abysmal opening round, he will be in a great position to win the 100th Genesis Invitational.
