Heritage Sports is an online sportsbook and casino site that has been around for over 16 years. Founded in 2001, Heritage Sports has much more industry experience than many other players in this space. Using their experience, Heritage Sports has developed a solid online sportsbook for their clients. Based out of San Jose, Costa Rica, Heritage Sports has seen some solid growth over the years. In 2011, they acquired the US-based players of both The Greek Sports and BetJamaica. Heritage Sports seems to have managed the growth well and has continued to cater to the needs of their growing client base. In the sections below, we’re going to give you a complete review of Heritage Sports. We’ll cover the good things and the bad things as we’re an independent source that hasn’t been paid by Heritage Sports to write this review. We’re here to tell it to you like it is.

The Sportsbook

The sportsbook at Heritage Sports is laid out very well so that you can quickly find what you’re looking for. Since this page is lacking distracting ads, you can get right to business and search for potential wagers. We found the Heritage Sports sportsbook to be one of the easiest online sportsbooks to navigate around.

Across the top of the sportsbook page, you’ll find links to some of the more popular sections. Currently, there are links to the racebook and live betting across this top bar. These quick links are nice for gamblers looking to get to these popular sections quickly.

On the left-hand side of the page, you’ll find a full menu of the sports that they offer at that time. This menu allows you the ability to drill down into your betting options. The menu is very intuitive and makes it super easy to find your preferred wager.

Sports You Can Bet On

If you’re looking to wager on sports, Heritage Sports has you covered! Currently, Heritage Sports offers you the ability to wager on 15 different sports as well as some other bets on religion and entertainment. At Heritage Sports, you’ll find all of the standard sports like basketball and soccer as well as some more rare ones like badminton. Below, we’ve gathered up the full lineup of sports that you can bet on at Heritage Sports.

Note: The lineup of sports below showcases what was available on Heritage Sports at the time of our review. Heritage Sports only displays sports that have active wagers available. If you don’t see a sport listed below that you’re interested in wagering on, be sure to check back when that sport is in season.

  • Football
  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Fighting
  • Golf
  • Tennis
  • Soccer
  • Rugby
  • Cricket
  • Aussie Rules
  • Volleyball
  • Badminton
  • Cycling
  • Entertainment
  • Motor Racing
  • Hockey
  • Religious

Heritage Sports offers a great list of sports for people to wager on. We really like the fact that they also included some wagers on entertainment and religion. Our favorite entertainment bet that we found at the time of this review was if Michael Phelps or the great white shark would win the upcoming Shark Week race between the two of them. Perhaps Phelps will win, or maybe the shark will eat him for dinner.

User Interface

The user interface on Heritage Sports’ website was very user-friendly. We were able to navigate around the site without any snags or delays. The layout is very organized and clean. One thing that we really liked about the sportsbook page was that there were no distracting display ads on the page.

At Heritage Sports, you’ll find the main sports menu located on the left-hand side of the sportsbook page. From this menu, you can pick which sport you’d like to bet on and then see which events you can wager on. Once you select the event that you’d like to wager on, Heritage Sports will show you all of the available wagers along with the associated odds for those wagers. From this page, you can quickly and easily place your bets.

Something that we liked about the Heritage Sports sportsbook was the fact that they allow clients to sort by bet type from the main page. We don’t see this option on other online sportsbooks as much as we would like to so it was awesome to see it here. In the top left hand of the sportsbook page, you can use the “Select Wager Type” section to pick which type of bet you’d like. From this drop down, you can choose options such as straight, parlay, or pleaser.

We were also pleased to see that Heritage Sports made in-play betting very visible to their clients. From the main sportsbook page, you can simply click on the “Live Betting” section across the top to see all in-play action at that time. Many gamblers like to bet on live action, so we’re big fans when sites make it easy to find this action.

One thing that we didn’t locate on Heritage Sports was the ability to change how your odds are displayed. Currently, the odds on Heritage Sports are displayed in the American format. While this isn’t a major issue, it would be a nice touch for them to add in the future.

From our time spent on the Heritage Sports site over the course of this review, the site seemed to be adequately equipped for speed. The site was always super snappy, and pages loaded fast. We never hit any form of lag, and the site always seemed very responsive. Based on these results, you should not have any reason to worry about site speed issues on Heritage Sports.

The Casino

When you’re ready to take a break from the sports betting for a bit, Heritage Sports offers an online casino for your gaming needs. Currently, you’ll find 96 slots, 25 table games, 27 types of video poker, and 4 live dealer games. Heritage Sports also offers a selection of Keno and scratch off games.

We were a bit disappointed by the quality of the game graphics that we found on Heritage Sports. Things looked quite a bit dated. Based on the quality of the game graphics, the online casino feels like an afterthought to the sportsbook. We would definitely like to see Heritage Sports step it up and offer some better gaming graphics moving forward.

One thing that we didn’t see offered by Heritage Sports that we would have liked to have seen was name brand games. We found several knock-off games such as “Sloth Father” and “Birds” on Heritage Sports as opposed to the name brand “Godfather” and “Angry Birds” games. We’re big fans of sites that offer name brand games as that tends to mean that they have invested more heavily in their online casino offerings. With time, perhaps Heritage Sports will offer up some name brand games in the future.

Something that we liked seeing on the Heritage Sports online casino was their live dealer games. We’re big fans of live dealer action due to the fact that it adds extra transparency and social interaction compared to traditional online casino games. At the time of this review, Heritage Sports offered live dealer Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, and Hold ‘Em.

Overall, the online casino at Heritage Sports is okay. It’s definitely not the best we’ve seen, but it also is not the worst. With some improvements in graphics quality and name brand games, the online casino could quickly become a much more attractive online casino. Hopefully, Heritage Sports will invest some more in their online casino so that it can improve more in the future.

Overall, Heritage Sports has a pretty good lineup of banking options. We’d definitely like to see them add some more options as their selection is smaller than many other online sportsbooks that we come across. The good news is that they have all of the major stuff covered, so most people won’t have an issue getting money on or off of their site.

Heritage Sports brings a solid lineup of bonuses and promotions to their clientele. Customer Service

Heritage Sports does not disappoint when it comes to customer service options. At the time of this review, Heritage Sports offered three main options for clients to contact their customer service team. Clients can utilize phone, live chat, and email to reach the Heritage Sports customer service team if and when they need it. We consider these three contact options to be the perfect trifecta of customer service options as it makes it very easy for clients to reach customer service in a variety of easy manners.

Heritage Sports offers a toll-free phone number that clients can utilize to call customer service. We tried out their phone customer service during our review and found the agents to be very helpful. If you’d like to reach Heritage Sports customer service by phone, simply call 1-800-800-7777.

Our favorite customer service option offered by Heritage Sports is their live chat functionality. From any page on their website, you can easily click to chat with a customer service representative. We’re big fans of live chat as it allows you to connect almost instantly while you are actively on the website. Look for the live chat icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the page to get your live chat rolling.

Lastly, you’re able to get in touch with the Heritage Sports customer service team via email if you prefer that method. They offer two different email addresses: one for wagering help and one for general customer service. We’ve provided both of those email addresses below for your convenience.

Something that we would really like to see Heritage Sports offer is 24/7 customer service. Currently, Heritage Sports only offers customer service support for about half the day. Adding in 24/7 customer service will make it easier for clients around the world to reach them instantly as opposed to having to wait for assistance. Overall, Heritage Sports has done a pretty good job with their customer service set up. We really enjoy the options that they offer clients.
