The Texans are among the biggest favorites of NFL Week 7 at -10.5 for Houston’s home matchup against the Giants. New York (3-2-1) has the best record in the NFC East, but will be making a quarterback change after Jameis Winston was benched in last week’s loss to the Saints. JJ McCarthy will make his first start for the Giants.

Speaking of the Saints, they host the Steelers this week in the NFL’s first-ever game in Paris. Pittsburgh is a 3-point favorite over New Orleans in this international matchup.

The four NFL teams on a bye in Week 7 are:

  • Buffalo Bills
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Washington Commanders

New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
New England Patriots +3 (-112) +140 Over 50 (-108)
Chicago Bears -3 (-108) -165 Under 50 (-112)

Week 7 starts with a cross-conference battle of 2025 playoff teams on Thursday Night Football. New England (4-2) has overcome its slow start and won three straight games.

The Bears are also 4-2 after a road win over the Falcons in Week 6. More importantly, QB Caleb Williams returned to the starting lineup last week and threw for over 300 yards passing in the Bears’ win on Sunday.

Chicago is a 3-point home favorite for this Week 7 TNF matchup. The Bears struggled to run the ball on Sunday, managing just 98 yards on 33 carries (3 yards per carry). It lowered their season-long average, but the Bears are still the best rushing team in the NFL at 160.7 YPG on the ground.

Chicago could struggle on the ground again, especially if RB Kyle Monangai misses another game. New England has limited opponents to 91.8 rushing YPG, the eighth-fewest in the NFL.

New England’s offense could also struggle if Drake Maye and AJ Brown continue to have issues connecting. Brown caught just three of his ten targets and dropped three passes in his first game since Week 1. The disconnect between Maye and Brown will likely help Chicago win at home.

Patriots vs. Bears NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Chicago Bears -3 (-108)
  • Moneyline Bet: Chicago Bears (-165)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 50 (-112)

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Pittsburgh Steelers -3 (-120) -180 Over 45 (-110)
New Orleans Saints +3 (+100) +155 Under 45 (-110)

Sunday’s Week 7 action begins with a historic matchup between the Steelers (4-2) and the Saints (2-4) in the first-ever NFL regular-season game in France. New Orleans is the designated home team for this matchup, which is scheduled to be played at the Stade de France.

The Steelers are 3-point favorites for this matchup. Pittsburgh secured its first road win of the season on Sunday, but needed a 16-point fourth quarter and overtime to beat the Buccaneers.

New Orleans is also coming off a win after holding off the Giants in New York, 34-27. Tyler Shough completed only 16 passes for 144 yards, but he had three passing TDs and was not sacked once. The Saints also had 175 rushing yards and averaged 4.6 YPC in their road win.

Pittsburgh has been average at best against the run this season, ranking 14th with 103.2 rushing YPG allowed. The Steelers’ passing attack is also likely to struggle with two of its top options, Michael Pittman Jr. (foot) and Roman Wilson (finger), on injured reserve.

If New Orleans can run the ball consistently again and contain an injury-depleted Steelers’ passing attack, the Saints can pull off the upset in their first international game since 2022.

Steelers vs. Saints NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: New Orleans +3 (+100)
  • Moneyline Bet: New Orleans (+155)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 45 (-110)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3 (-120) +130 Over 44.5 (-110)
Carolina Panthers -3 (+100) -150 Under 44.5 (-110)

Carolina (3-2), fresh off a win over the Eagles in Philadelphia, looks to take a commanding lead in the NFC South. The Panthers are a 3-point home favorite against the visiting Buccaneers (1-5).

Bryce Young leads the NFL with 309.8 passing YPG and has thrown for 11 TDs in his five starts. Tampa Bay has been great against the run, giving up 75.5 rushing YPG, but has allowed 224 passing YPG (13th-most).

Baker Mayfield is expected to return this week for Tampa Bay, but the offense has been more productive with rookie Jalon Daniels in the lineup. Mayfield averaged 205 passing YPG and was sacked 13 times in his three starts this season.

Also, after starting his tenure 19-15 and leading the Bucs to back-to-back division titles, Mayfield is now 8-12 in his last 20 starts for Tampa Bay.

Regardless of who starts for the Bucs, the Panthers should win this game. Carolina’s offense is fresh after the Week 5 bye and will likely overpower Tampa’s defense on Sunday.

Buccaneers vs. Panthers NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Carolina Panthers -3 (+100)
  • Moneyline Bet: Carolina Panthers (-150)
  • Over/Under Bet: Over 44.5 (-110)

New York Giants vs. Houston Texans Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
New York Giants +10.5 (-115) +355 Over 42.5 (-115)
Houston Texans -10.5 (-105) -490 Under 42.5 (-105)

Houston (2-4) started 0-4, but then won back-to-back divisional games, including a massive win over the Jaguars in London on Sunday. The Texans are major favorites to win again in Week 7, laying 10.5 points as home favorites against the Giants.

New York changed its offense in Week 6, and more changes could be coming. RB Cam Skattebo led the team with 81 carries for 294 rushing yards heading into Sunday’s game against the Saints. However, after fumbling three times in five weeks, Skattebo had zero touches on Sunday.

The G-Men also made a QB change in the loss, benching Jameis Winston in the final frame in favor of the recently-acquired JJ McCarthy. McCarthy completed 11 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown while leading the Giants in three fourth-quarter scoring drives. McCarthy will now start on Sunday against Houston.

McCarthy is likely to struggle against a reinvigorated Texans’ defense. Houston’s offense has also been more productive this season, averaging 270.2 passing YPG, over 60 more YPG than last year (218.1).

Houston is a good bet to get its third straight win, but covering a double-digit spread will be challenging. The Texans have a +1 point differential and are coming off a game in London.

Houston should win, but I expect John Harbaugh, who is 9-3 against the Texans in his coaching career, to have a plan to keep the game close enough to cover.

Giants vs. Texans NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: New York Giants +10.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline Bet: Houston Texans (-490)
  • Over/Under Bet: Over 42.5 (-115)

Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Indianapolis Colts +6.5 (-110) +240 Over 41.5 (-110)
Minnesota Vikings -6.5 (-110) -290 Under 41.5 (-110)

Indianapolis (2-4) fell to its second consecutive loss on Sunday. To make matters worse, the defeat was to the previously winless Tennessee Titans, a division rival. On Monday, the Colts announced they had fired GM Chris Ballard, signaling more changes could be coming soon.

On the flip side, Minnesota (5-0) is one of the few remaining undefeated teams and had a bye last week. The Vikings arguably have the best defense in the league, ranking second in yards allowed (259.8 YPG) and first in points allowed (12.8 PPG).

Minnesota’s offense has struggled at times, but Brian Flores’s defense has kept them in games. Kevin O’Connell had an extra week to prepare a game plan for this matchup, so the Vikings’ offense should be better on Sunday.

Indy has a bottom-10 defense, allowing 351.2 YPG (8th-most) and 27.3 PPG (6th-most). The Colts will also likely be without their top corner, Sauce Gardner, who is week-to-week with a calf injury.

A rested Vikings’ team with additional prep time should win and cover the 6.5-point spread against the struggling Colts.

Colts vs. Vikings NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Minnesota Vikings -6.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline Bet: Minnesota Vikings (-290)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 41.5 (-110)

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Miami Dolphins +4.5 (-112) +180 Over 39 (-112)
New York Jets -4.5 (-108) -220 Under 39 (-108)

Miami (0-5) is one of the two last remaining winless teams, along with the Chargers. They did have a bye last week to prepare for this weekend’s divisional matchup against the Jets (2-4). New York dropped a 19-26 game to the Patriots in Week 6.

Despite the defeat and their rest disadvantage, the Jets are laying 4.5 points as home favorites against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Miami has the worst point differential in the NFL at -62. The Jets also have a negative point differential at -10, but they have scored 52 more points and allowed 10 fewer points than the Dolphins this year.

One of the few bright spots for Miami this year has been the run game. The Dolphins have averaged 126.6 rushing YPG this season, which ranks 10th in the league. New York, on the other hand, has allowed 123 rushing YPG to opposing teams, tied for the 9th most in the NFL.

Both teams have their issues, but a rested Dolphins’ team with a healthy Ollie Gordon in the backfield can run the ball to control the game and earn their first win of the year.

Dolphins vs. Jets NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Miami Dolphins +4.5 (-112)
  • Moneyline Bet: Miami Dolphins (+180)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 39 (-108)

Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Cleveland Browns -1.5 (-110) -128 Over 37.5 (-105)
Tennessee Titans +1.5 (-110) +107 Under 37.5 (-115)

Cleveland’s (4-2) upset of the Ravens improved their record, and kept them undefeated at home (3-0) and in the division (2-0). The Browns hit the road this week to face the Titans (1-5) in Tennessee.

Cam Ward and company earned their first win of the season in Week 6, upsetting the Colts on the road. They will need the momentum from that victory if they want to overcome the odds again on Sunday.

Tennessee is a 1.5-point underdog in Week 7 as it searches for its first home win of the season. The Titans don’t have much going for them right now, so it will be tough.

Cleveland is 1-2 on the road and, despite being 4-2, has a -16 point differential this year. They have also not won a game by more than four points this season, so this game should be close. The Browns could have RB Quinshon Judkins back, but their offensive issues make the Titans a live dog in this matchup.

Browns vs. Titans NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Tennessee Titans +1.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline Bet: Tennessee Titans (+107)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 37.5 (-115)

Denver Broncos vs. Arizona Cardinals Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Denver Broncos -4 (-115) -220 Over 43 (-108)
Arizona Cardinals +4 (-105) +180 Under 43 (-112)

Denver (4-2) is another team with a winning record, but a negative point differential (-11). The Broncos flipped the script last week, scoring 14 points early, but struggling in the second half. On the bright side, Denver’s defense overcame its injuries and did enough to beat Seattle in overtime.

The Broncos’ defense is primed for another big performance this week after their mini-bye. Denver is a 4-point road favorite against the Cardinals (2-4) this weekend.

Arizona beat the Rams in Week 6 and improved to 2-0 at SoFi Stadium this season. The Cardinals have been far less successful outside of LA, including a 0-2 record at home. Arizona has the third-worst point differential in the NFL at -52.

Denver’s defense should be rested after the extra days off, but safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) and cornerback Patrick Surtain II (ankle) are long shots to play. Even without two of the best secondary players, the Broncos’ defense is good enough to shut down Arizona’s offense and secure an important road win.

However, given the Broncos’ offensive issues (19 PPG), I like the Cardinals’ chances to cover.

Broncos vs. Cardinals NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Arizona Cardinals +4 (-105)
  • Moneyline Bet: Denver Broncos (-220)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 43 (-112)

Los Angeles Rams vs. Las Vegas Raiders Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-110) -190 Over 48.5 (-108)
Las Vegas Raiders +3.5 (-110) +162 Under 48.5 (-112)

The Rams (2-4) and the Raiders (3-3) are both desperate for wins that could help save their seasons. Los Angeles has super-team expectations, but is currently fourth in the NFC West after losing to Arizona.

In the meantime, Kirk Cousins and the Raiders have lost three straight games after their 3-0 start.

Las Vegas is a 3.5-point home underdog against LAR this weekend. The Rams are -190 favorites on the moneyline, giving Matthew Stafford and company an implied win probability of 65.52%, which is down from 70.59% at the beginning of the week.

Cousins (1,582 – 5th) and Stafford (1,794 – 1st) are both top five in passing yards this season. Unfortunately, neither quarterback has been able to consistently count on their defenses. The Raiders have allowed 27 PPG, the seventh-most, while the Rams have allowed 23.3.

Stafford could struggle to continue to lead the league in passing without Davante Adams. The veteran WR is out for 6-10 weeks with a hamstring injury.

Las Vegas’s defense has been great at forcing turnovers, though, and is tied for the third-most in the NFL with 10. Stafford has six interceptions, tied for the fourth-most. He has not thrown a pick in back-to-back games, but the Raiders can pull off the upset if Stafford’s turnover issues reemerge.

Rams vs. Raiders NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Las Vegas Raiders +3.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline Bet: Las Vegas Raiders (+162)
  • Over/Under Bet: Over 48.5 (-108)

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Seattle Seahawks Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Kansas City Chiefs +2.5 (+100) +127 Over 42.5 (-112)
Seattle Seahawks -2.5 (-120) -147 Under 42.5 (-108)

Kansas City (5-0) puts its undefeated record on the line this weekend against the struggling Super Bowl champion Seahawks (3-3). Seattle’s defense has been great, holding opponents to a league-low 237.3 YPG.

The Seahawks’ defense is a big reason why Seattle is a 2.5-point favorite at home against Patrick Mahomes and company. Seattle needs QB Sam Darnold to get out of his current slump if they want to go toe-to-toe with KC in Kenneth Walker III’s return to the PNW.

Darnold has seven interceptions in his last four starts, including three multi-turnover games. He has directly cost the Seahawks three of their last four games with late-game interceptions.

Kansas City’s defense has forced nine turnovers in five games this season. KW3 has also given the Chiefs a dominant run game for the first time in Mahomes’ career. Seattle, on the other hand, has been unable to establish a consistent rushing attack with Walker in the backfield.

The Chiefs’ aggressive defense and Walker’s individual brilliance should help KC dominate from wire-to-wire in a road upset.

Chiefs vs. Seahawks NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Kansas City Chiefs +2.5 (+100)
  • Moneyline Bet: Kansas City Chiefs (+127)
  • Over/Under Bet: Over 42.5 (-112)

San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
San Francisco 49ers -2.5 (-120) -150 Over 50 (-110)
Atlanta Falcons +2.5 (+100) +130 Under 50 (-110)

San Francisco, one of two undefeated teams in the NFC, is a -150 favorite against the Falcons in Atlanta. The Falcons are getting 2.5 points as home underdogs in this matchup.

Brock Purdy and the 49ers won on MNF, but their late prime-time game puts them at a major rest disadvantage. In addition to flying across the country for this game, San Fran will have one less day to prepare and recover after Monday’s win.

Adding to the 49ers’ disadvantage is the game’s timing, with a 1:00 PM Eastern kickoff. San Fran is also expected to be without its top receiver, Mike Evans, who is dealing with an Achilles injury.

Containing Bijan Robinson is easier said than done with a rested defense. The shortened week puts the 49ers at a huge disadvantage and should open the door for a Falcons’ upset.

For Atlanta’s part, Michael Penix Jr. should be healthier this weekend. Even with the limitations of his rib injury, Penix nearly pulled off a comeback win over the Bears last week. If they can avoid falling behind early, Penix and company can be the first team to beat the 49ers this year.

49ers vs. Falcons NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Atlanta Falcons +2.5 (+100)
  • Moneyline Bet: Atlanta Falcons (+130)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 50 (-110)

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Cincinnati Bengals -1 (-108) -115 Over 48.5 (-110)
Baltimore Ravens +1 (-112) -105 Under 48.5 (-110)

Cincinnati (3-2) is a 1-point favorite as the Bengals seek their first divisional win of the season. Joe Burrow and company head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens (4-2).

Burrow began his career 4-2 against the Ravens, including a 2022 playoff win over his division rivals. Since 2023, though, the Ravens have beaten the Bengals in five of their last six matchups. Baltimore is a -105 underdog to do the same at home this weekend.

The biggest question for this game is Lamar Jackson’s health. He has missed the last two games with an ankle sprain, but Jackson returned to practice this week. Still, there is no official word on whether he’ll play.

If Jackson is back, then the Ravens have a chance to win and cover. However, the Bengals are coming off a bye and should be close to full strength. Cincinnati’s defense is still bad, but it is better than last season and is good enough to believe the Bengals can win in Baltimore.

Bengals vs. Ravens NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Cincinnati Bengals -1 (-108)
  • Moneyline Bet: Cincinnati Bengals (-115)
  • Over/Under Bet: Over 48.5 (-110)

Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Green Bay Packers +3.5 (-115) +160 Over 53.5 (-110)
Detroit Lions -3.5 (-105) -185 Under 53.5 (-110)

Green Bay (4-2) dominated Dallas on Sunday Night Football in Week 6, beating the Cowboys 23-13 in prime time. Despite their three-game winning streak, the Packers are getting 3.5 points against the Lions (3-2) on Sunday.

Detroit is currently fourth in the NFC North, but the Lions are -185 moneyline favorites this weekend. They should be well-rested after their bye, which is great news for Jahmyr Gibbs, who is third in the NFL with 132 total touches this season.

Regardless of how much rest the Lions received, their defense remains a major concern. Detroit’s defense ranks:

  • 32nd in total yards allowed (404.4 YPG)
  • 32nd in passing yards allowed (297.4 YPG)
  • 15th in rushing yards allowed (107 YPG)
  • 30th in points allowed (29.6 PPG)

Green Bay is the worst rushing team in the NFL, averaging 59.8 YPG, but the Packers could be getting Josh Jacobs back in the starting lineup this weekend. Even if he doesn’t play, Jordan Love and the offense are averaging 269.3 passing YPG, the fifth-most in the NFL.

I trust the Packers’ defense more than the Lions’ and expect Green Bay to win its fourth straight game this weekend.

Packers vs. Lions NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Green Bay Packers +3.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline Bet: Green Bay Packers (+160)
  • Over/Under Bet: Over 53.5 (-110)

Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Dallas Cowboys -4.5 (-108) -220 Over 44 (-110)
Philadelphia Eagles +4.5 (-112) +180 Under 44 (-110)

The Cowboys (2-4) and Eagles (2-4) both enter their Monday Night Football matchup with the same record. Dallas has lost back-to-back games in prime-time, while Philadelphia has lost four straight.

To make matters worse, the Eagles will be without QB Jalen Hurts (blood clots) for the rest of the season. Hurts is the latest in a long line of Philly offensive starters to suffer a major injury this year.

The Eagles offense is in shambles, but even a depleted Philly team could move the ball against this Cowboys’ defense. Dallas is at or near the bottom of the league in every major defensive category, including yards allowed (382.5 YPG – 30th), passing yards allowed (232.7 YPG – 23rd), and rushing yards allowed (149.8 – 32nd).

Dallas’s offense has also been disappointing lately, scoring 16 or fewer points in back-to-back games.

RB Saquon Barkley is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, but he could return on Monday. If Barkley is able to play, the Eagles should be able to at least keep the score close enough to cover against a bad Dallas defense.

Cowboys vs. Eagles NFL Week 7 Best Bets:

  • Points Spread: Philadelphia Eagles +4.5 (-112)
  • Moneyline Bet: Dallas Cowboys (-220)
  • Over/Under Bet: Under 44 (-110)
