The Emmy odds are here for the 77th edition of television’s biggest night after the nominations were announced in mid-July, so it’s time for predictions! The ceremony will be held on September 14, 2025. It will air on CBS and on Paramount Plus for the streamers.
I’ll analyze the Emmy odds for the top awards, including Best Drama and Comedy, as well as the nominees in those categories. My main focus is on these categories, but I offer quick predictions for all of them, so let’s start there!

Emmy Awards: Outstanding Drama Odds and Predictions
Let’s kick off my Emmy betting picks with what will likely be the final award of the night, Best Drama.
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Severance | -300 |
The Pitt | +200 |
The White Lotus | +1000 |
The Last of Us | +1200 |
Andor | +1200 |
Slow Horses | +2000 |
Paradise | +2000 |
The Diplomat | +2500 |
The Primetime Emmy betting odds suggest a two-horse race between Apple’s Severance (-300) and The Pitt (+200) of HBO Max. Severance was the talk of TV’s first quarter, and all of their main actors have also received nominations.
Since the Emmy odds opened, Severance’s price has risen from -200 to -300, so public sentiment is up on it winning for Outstanding Drama.

The Pitt flew under the radar compared to Severance, but Max’s day in the life at a Pittsburgh hospital has moved up the ranks at entertainment betting sites! If you remember E.R. from 1995 to 2006, you’ll love The Pitt. Creator R. Scott Gemmill worked on E.R. for years, and actor Noah Wyle was on the show for 12 of the 15 seasons.
The rest of the category is filled with excellent shows, such as The White Lotus (+1200) and The Last of Us (+1400), both on HBO. I liked The Pitt more, but I think Severance will win at -300.
Apple has spent a ton of money to create a hit and it shows. The overall buzz around Severance is too big to ignore, so that’s the best bet here at -300.
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Actor in Drama Odds and Prediction
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Noah Wyle (The Pitt) | -500 |
Adam Scott (Severance) | +200 |
Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) | +1200 |
Gary Oldman (Slow Horses) | +1600 |
Sterling K. Brown (Paradise) | +2000 |
It’s Severance vs. The Pitt, Part 2! Wyle (-500) is favored in these Emmy Awards odds over Adam Scott (+200) of Severance, and the rest of the category is fighting for third place. If you’ve seen Season 2 of The Last of Us, I won’t spoil anything, but it is interesting that Pedro Pascal (+1200) received a nomination.
This one should be closer than the odds suggest, so I’m taking the bigger return and betting on Scott here! The odds suggest that Wyle is a huge favorite, but it’s much closer than that.
Scott was nominated for the first season of the show but missed out on the award. That should give him an extra edge here, so I can’t resist the temptation to back him at such high odds.
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Supporting Actor in Drama Odds and Prediction
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Walton Goggins (The White Lotus) | -150 |
Tramell Tillman (Severance) | +110 |
John Turturro (Severance) | +1200 |
Jason Isaacs (The White Lotus) | +1800 |
Zach Cherry (Severance) | +1800 |
Sam Rockwell (The White Lotus) | +2500 |
James Marsden (Paradise) | +2500 |
The White Lotus (-150) is highly unlikely to leave the Emmys empty-handed! For its third season on HBO, The show is nominated for 23 awards. However, Severance and The Penguin have more nominations, but The White Lotus is sure to make a big splash.
The award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama is one of the most likely winners for The White Lotus. Portraying Rick Hatchett in the drama, Goggins has received rave reviews for his work on the show. In the third year, Hatchett travels to Thailand to seek revenge on Jim Hollinger, a man he believes murdered his father.
Hatchett’s mysterious, dark, and troubled demeanor and style in the show is wonderfully depicted by Goggins. He will be tested by Severance’s Tramell Tillman, who is in the running with +110 odds. Severance is going to win a lot of Emmys, but Goggins should prevail for his outstanding effort on The White Lotus.
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Actress in Drama Betting Odds and Prediction
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Kathy Bates (Matlock) | -350 |
Britt Lower (Severance) | +175 |
Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us) | +1000 |
Keri Russell (The Diplomat) | +1600 |
Sharon Hogan (Bad Sisters) | +2000 |
Here is another category in which you can find excellent value on your Emmy award predictions! Kathy Bates (-350) is the favorite here, with a 77.8% implied probability to win, for the Matlock reboot. But I’m picking Britt Lower (+175) from Severance! Lower was a tour de force in playing two roles, and at +175, you’re getting a great return here!
A nod to Sharon Horgan (+2000) from Bad Sisters, another Apple TV show that had a phenomenal first season. But I’m grabbing Lower’s odds before there’s no value there anymore! She is amazing in Severance and the show is in prime position to win a ton of Emmys, so the odds should be closer to +150.
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Betting Odds and Prediction
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Carie Coon | -300 |
Katherine LaNasa | +400 |
Parker Posey | +450 |
Aimee Lou Wood | +1500 |
Patricia Arquette | +1800 |
Natasha Rothwell | +1800 |
Julianne Nicholson | +1800 |
The White Lotus should control the narrative when it comes to supporting actress and actor. Along with Goggins, his female counterpart Carie Coon (-300) is in a strong position to win on Emmys night.
According to the latest Emmys betting odds, Coon has an even better chance to win than Goggs. At -300, she holds a 75% implied probability of winning for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Coon is one of the main drivers of The White Lotus and is well-deserving of the nomination.
— out of context the white lotus (@oocwhitelotus) April 7, 2025
Aside from an upset from Katherin LaNasa, I’m not convinced that anyone holds up against Coon for Outstanding Supporting Actress. I don’t like the return at -300, but Coon should probably be a -500 favorite in this spot.
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Comedy Odds and Betting Pick
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
The Studio | -400 |
Hacks | +225 |
The Bear | +1000 |
Nobody Wants This | +1800 |
Shrinking | +1800 |
Only Murders in the Building | +1800 |
Abbott Elementary | +2500 |
What We Do in the Shadows | +2500 |
Hacks (+225) beat out The Bear (+1000) in last year’s awards. Now, they’re both chasing The Studio (-400), Seth Rogan’s Apple vehicle about a studio executive trying to balance making quality films, with movies that will make money.
The Studio’s Emmy Awards odds have grown exponentially over the last month. In early July, The Studio was a -150 favorite, and now has exploded to -400 at BetUS. At this huge price, the Apple TV comedy has an 80% implied probability of taking home the top prize.
With 23 nominations, Seth Rogen’s ‘THE STUDIO’ is now the most nominated freshman comedy in Emmys history, breaking the record previously held by ‘TED LASSO.’ pic.twitter.com/1gMeeVGDSp

The winner will come from this trio, although a shout to What We Do in the Shadows (+1500), which ended its six-season run with its fourth nomination in this category. Abbott Elementary (+2500) is extremely funny, but a network show (airing on ABC, NBC, CBS, or Fox) hasn’t won this award since Modern Family in 2014.
All of the shows in this category are worthy, but The Studio at -400 is the most likely winner for your Primetime Emmy Awards predictions. I originally bet on The Studio to win at -150, so that was a fantastic price. Now, you are probably looking at including The Studio in a parlay at -400, though.
Awards organizations love that sort of thing and often reward “insider” looks at their own industry. When The Studio was -150, I was shocked to find that generous value on the board.
At -400, the price is much more honest now, but the value is lacking. Nevertheless, The Studio is the clear play to win.
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Actor in Comedy Odds and Best Bet
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Seth Rogan (The Studio) | -400 |
Martin Short (Only Murders in the Building) | +250 |
Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) | +1000 |
Adam Brody (Nobody Wants This) | +1800 |
Jason Segel (Shrinking) | +2500 |
Rogan (-400) is the favorite in these Emmy Awards betting odds for his work in The Studio. While we know the actor for his comedy work, there were also a couple of poignant moments. But this is the comedy category, and Rogan was absolutely hilarious in this show.
Martin Short (+250) is next after splitting the votes with Only Murders in the Building co-star Steve Martin in two of the last three years at the Emmys. Jeremy Allen White (+1000) has won the last two years for The Bear, a show the Academy loves. Adam Brody (+1800) was excellent on the first season of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This.
I think Short wins this in any other year, if not for Rogan and The Studio. Season 3 of The Bear wasn’t as strong as usual, with all due respect to White. But The Studio was a juggernaut, and Rogan was amazing in it. It’s his award to lose, especially since Short could be on the wrong end of voter fatigue.
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Supporting Actor in Comedy Odds and Best Bet
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Ike Barinholtz (The Studio) | +100 |
Harrison Ford (Shrinking) | +125 |
Ebon Moss-Bacrach (The Bear) | +600 |
Michael Urie (Shrinking) | +1200 |
Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live) | +1400 |
Colman Domingo (The Four Seasons) | +1800 |
Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere) | +2200 |
The Studio’s Ike Barinholtz (+100) and Shrinking’s Harrison Ford (+125) are in a tight battle for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy. Barinholtz has a 50% chance, so a coin flip, while Ford is at 44.4%.
While the voting should be close, Barinholtz should manage to hold on for the win. And, at even odds to win the Emmy, this is solid value to have on your card. Barinholtz is a fantastic fixture on the show as Sal Saperstein and carries plenty of confidence alongside Rogan.
This one goes out to Sal Saperstein.#TheStudio — Now Streaming pic.twitter.com/LdUHTyZUq9
— Apple TV (@AppleTV) May 10, 2025
The way I see it, Barinholtz’s character on The Studio is one of the funniest on TV today. I respect Ford on Shrinking, but it’s hard to bet against Barinholtz to win this award. Barinholtz should be a -150 favorite, so the value is undeniable at +100!
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Actress in Comedy Odds and Prediction
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Jean Smart (Hacks) | -1200 |
Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) | +500 |
Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary) | +1500 |
Kristen Bell (Nobody Wants This) | +1600 |
Ezo Aduba (The Residence) | +2500 |
Jean Smart (-1200) of Hacks has won three of the last four years in this category, with Abbott Elementary’s Quinta Brunson (+1500) winning in 2023. In my opinion, Ayo Edebiri (+550) has been the best part of The Bear, especially in Season 3.
She is also the first woman in history to be nominated for acting and directing in the same year, Edebiri is nominated for “Napkins”, the sixth episode of Season 3.
I can’t pick against Smart at -1200, although she won’t be in my Emmys betting picks simply because of the odds. If the price comes down to something like -500, she’ll be worth a bet.
However, Smart’s odds to win the Emmy have shifted from -900 to -1200 over the last month, so I don’t expect any movement in the opposite direction!
Emmy Awards: Outstanding Supporting Actress in Comedy Odds and Best Bet
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Hannah Einbinder | -1000 |
Catherine O’Hara | +500 |
Liza Colon-Zayas | +1400 |
Janelle James | +1800 |
Sheryl Lee Ralph | +3000 |
Jessica Williams | +3000 |
Kathryn Hahn | +3000 |
The Emmy Awards 2025 odds for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy point to one woman! Hannah Einbinder (-1000) holds a massive advantage for the win in this category.
The 30-year-old supporting actress in Hacks is prepared to collect her first Emmy. She has been nominated for this award in 2021, 2022, and 2024 for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Finally, in 2025, I’m confident that Einbinder is finally going to get her winning moment.
Compared to past years, the competition isn’t as tough, and Einbinder has had her best performance on the show this year. That being said, there is no value betting on this bet at -1000, so I’m going to pass and not recommend playing these hefty odds.
2025 Emmys Bonus Betting Pick: Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series
NOMINEE | ODDS |
---|---|
Adolescence | -1200 |
The Penguin | +600 |
Dying for Sex | +1800 |
Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story | +2000 |
Black Mirror | +3300 |
My final Emmy Award prediction comes from the Limited or Anthology series, and while I do think Adolescence (-1200) is a deserving favorite, The Penguin (+600) offers some incredible odds!
You can also take a look at the Lead Actor in this category as well, where Colin Farrell is favored at -150. His transformation over the course of the season was chilling, and I think he’ll win that award as well.
At +600, I’m willing to make a small bet and take the value, so let’s pick The Penguin at +600 in an upset! Both the critics and fans love the show, so it’s worth a shot.
