After a historic season last year, Saquon Barkley props are one of the most popular markets for the 2025-2026 season. Barkley helped the Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl 59 and nearly broke the rushing record. Now the question is, can he do it again?
Keep reading to see the best Saquon Barkley prop bets for the 2025 NFL season. I will analyze each bet and give my predictions for Barkley’s performance this year.
Saquon Barkley 2025-2026 Prop Bets and Predictions
See the table below for the best Saquon Barkley player props available at top NFL betting sites.
Prop Bet | Odds | Predictions |
---|---|---|
Rush for 2,000+ yards | +1200 | No |
Rush for 12+ touchdowns | -125 | Yes |
Win regular season MVP | +5000 | No |
Win Offensive Player of the Year | +550 | Yes |
Barkley finished last year with 2,005 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. He is just the ninth player in NFL history to exceed the 2,000-yard mark in a single season.
His efforts were vital in helping the Eagles reach Super Bowl 59. Barkley won Offensive Player of the Year and was named a First-Team All-Pro. However, he only finished third in MVP voting, losing out on the award to Buffalo’s Josh Allen.
The odds above were all provided by BetUS, and you can find them by going to Sportsbook > Football > NFL Specials > S Barkley.
Will Saquon Barkley Rush for 2,000+ Yards?
- Yes (+1200)
Barkley’s 2,005 rushing yards last year were the eighth most in a single regular season in NFL history. After a massive debut season in Philly, expectations are even higher for Barkley in year two.
Saquon Barkley’s first season as an Eagle, including the playoffs:
– 2,504 rushing yards (most ever in season)
– 353 receiving yards
– 20 total TD
– NFL Offensive Player of the Year
– 1st Team All Pro
– 3rd in MVP
– Super Bowl champion pic.twitter.com/0o3WyMZkID— Field Yates (@FieldYates) February 10, 2025
Offshore sportsbooks list Barkley at +1200 to become the first player with back-to-back 2K rushing seasons. At his current odds, this prop has an implied win probability of 7.69%.
Before Barkley, six of the eight players in the 2K yard club followed up their performance with at least 1,000 yards the next season.
- Barry Sanders – 1,491 yards in 1998
- Chris Johnson – 1,364 yards in 2010
- Adrian Peterson – 1,266 yards in 2013
- Eric Dickerson – 1,234 yards in 1985
- J. Simpson – 1,125 yards in 1974
- Jamal Lewis – 1,006 yards in 2003
Sanders had the best season following a 2,000-yard campaign, but he was still over 500 yards short of hitting the mark again in 1998.
The number of carries Barkley racked up last season also raises concerns about his health this year. With that in mind, I would not bet on Barkley hitting the 2,000-yard mark again in 2025.
Barkley Rushing Yards Total
- Over 1,450.5 yards (-120)
- Under 1,450.5 yards (-110)
It is unlikely that Barkley repeats his 2,000-yard performance from last season. Luckily, that is not the only way to bet on the star running back’s upcoming season. BetUS lists Barkley’s rushing total at over/under 1,450.5 yards this season.
The over is a slight favorite at -120, while the under is available at -110.
What does #NFL historical data say about Saquon Barkley's chance to rush for 2,000 yards again?@geoffpmosher goes inside the numbers on expectations for Barkley in 2025.https://t.co/aLXpuqjTzf

Philadelphia has one of, if not, the best offensive lines in the NFL. So, if Barkley can stay healthy, he should have the protection up front for another great season rushing the football.
Barkley has played at least 13 games in four straight seasons. However, he has never played 15 or more games in back-to-back seasons. The Penn State alumni played in 16 games last year.
He could cover the over on 1,450.5 yards and still be well short of hitting 2,000 yards. On the other hand, Barkley would need at least the second-best season after a 2,000-yard campaign to cover the over in this market.
Barkley is a much safer bet to cover his 1,450.5 total than he is to hit 2,000 yards again.
Can Barkley Break the Rushing Record?
- Yes (+1600)
I am not optimistic that Barkley can get to 2,000 yards again, but some bettors are. If you think that Barkley will top 2K again this year, then consider this bet for Barkley to break the rushing yards record.
The current single-season rushing record is held by Eric Dickerson, who ran for 2,105 yards in 1984. Barkley racked up 2,005 yards last year, just 100 yards shy of the record. He sat out the end of multiple games last year, a decision that likely cost him the record.
If Barkley plays a full 17-game schedule, Dickerson’s record could be in danger. Saquon averaged 5.8 yards per carry last year and had 345 carries. He would need 363 carries to break Dickerson’s record if he maintained his YPC average from last season.
Back-to-back seasons of 340+ carries will be easier said than done. Last season was the first time in Barkley’s career that he topped 300 rush attempts, let alone 340. In fact, he has never had more than 250 carries in consecutive seasons thus far in his career.
Will Barkley Score 12+ Rushing Touchdowns?
- Yes (-125)
Barkley’s 2,000-yard performance was not the only part of his first year in Philly. He also set a career high with 13 rushing touchdowns. He is listed at -125 to have 12+ touchdowns again this season.

For reference, BetUS has the following over/under for rushing touchdowns in their Saquon Barkley futures section.
- Over 11.5 rushing touchdowns (-115)
- Under 11.5 rushing touchdowns (-115)
Barkley has only hit double-digit touchdowns three times in his seven NFL seasons. Philly’s reliance on the tush push also robbed Barkley of multiple scores last season.
Despite that, I do think that Barkley will hit at least 12 rushing scores this year. However, I would not bet on the 12+ rushing scores prop wager. Instead, I recommend betting on Barkley to cover the over on his 11.5 rushing scores total for slightly better value.
Saquon Barkley to Win MVP
- Barkley wins MVP (+5000)
Four of the nine rushers to hit the 2,000-yard mark also claimed MVP honors that season. The players to achieve both in the same season include O.J. Simpson (1973), Barry Sanders (1997), Terrell Davis (1998), and Adrian Peterson (2012).
Peterson is the only 2K rusher since the turn of the century to win MVP. He is also the last non-quarterback to win the award.
Despite his 2,005 yards last year, Barkley only finished third in MVP voting. It was the second-highest finish in MVP voting by a 2,000-yard rusher since the turn of the century.
Top MVP contenders heading into the 2025-2026 season include:
- Lamar Jackson (+500)
- Josh Allen (+600)
- Joe Burrow (+600)
- Patrick Mahomes (+600)
- Jayden Daniels (+800)
Unsurprisingly, quarterbacks dominate the top of the MVP odds boards. The top 17 players are all quarterbacks. Three of the top four contenders are previous MVP winners, and Jayden Daniels, who is fifth at 8-1 odds, is the reigning Rookie of the Year.
Barkley has the best odds of any non-quarterback at 50-1. Unfortunately for Barkley, NFL award voters are committed to keeping the MVP as a quarterback award. So, I would not bet on Barkley to win the MVP this year.
Will Saquon Repeat as Offensive Player of the Year?
- Yes (+550)
Barkley may not win MVP, but he has a much better shot at repeating as Offensive Player of the Year. He is listed at +550 to win the award, making him the favorite at BetUS to win OPOY this season.

Other top contenders for OPOY include:
- Ja’Marr Chase (+950)
- Jahmyr Gibbs (+1200)
- Derrick Henry (+1400)
- Justin Jefferson (+1400)
- Nico Collins (+1400)
There is a sizeable gap between Saquon Barkley’s betting odds and the other top potential nominees. At +550, Barkley has an implied win probability of 15.38%, which is more than 50% higher than the next closest contender, Ja’Marr Chase (9.52%).
Every 2,000-yard rusher, other than Eric Dickerson, won the OPOY that season. If Saquon hits the mark again, he is essentially guaranteed to win the award.
Even if he cannot reach 2,000 yards again, Barkley’s role in Philly’s offense should allow him to build an impressive resume. However, only eight players have won OPOY multiple times in their careers.
Of those eight, only Earl Campbell and Marshall Faulk won it in back-to-back years. Faulk won OPOY three straight years from 1999 to 2001.
