Golden State Valkyries vs. Connecticut Sun: Sun +14 (-115)
Laying 14 points in any professional basketball game is asking a lot, and the Golden State Valkyries (26-11) may have a tough time doing that tonight. While they have the best defense in the league, their offense ranks second-worst in the entire league, which makes it extremely hard to run up a margin that large, especially coming off an emotional road win in Minnesota. Road favorites in that spot tend to come out flat, not firing on all cylinders.

The Connecticut Sun (10-27), meanwhile, are a proven ATS machine as home underdogs this season. The Sun have covered in 11 of their last 15 games when catching points at home. Yes, they played last night, but that game was also at home, which limits the travel fatigue factor significantly. Their sixth-best defense in the league is built to keep games close and grind opponents down.
Fourteen points is a massive number to give a defense that good. The Valkyries may not have the firepower to blow them out. The Sun don’t need to win this game outright, they just need to stay within 14 points at WNBA betting sites, and their profile says they will.
Toronto Tempo vs. Seattle Storm: Storm -7 (-110)
Toronto (11-26) comes into this one banged up. Marina Mabrey and Nyara Sabally are out, and Brittney Sykes has been shut down for the season. Losing those key contributors on the offensive end means the Tempo are going to have a hard time keeping pace, especially on the road against a Seattle (7-31) defense that is significantly healthier and more battle-tested right now.

Here’s the wrinkle that makes this interesting: Toronto is actually 12-5 ATS as a road underdog this season. That’s a strong number, and it deserves respect. But covering a 7-point spread with a depleted offensive roster is a very different ask than what they’ve been doing all year.
Seattle, on the other hand, is just 1-3 ATS as a home favorite, which is not exactly inspiring. But health is the great equalizer here. The Storm have the defensive personnel to clamp down on a short-handed Toronto squad, and seven points is a lot of ground to make up when your top offensive weapons are compromised.
