Here are the detailed versions of my UCL best bets for today, November 4.

AEK vs. Real Madrid: Real -2 AH (+105)

I had my doubts about Mourinho returning to Real Madrid, but it looks like he has found the right formula. The Spanish giants have won six games in a row in all competitions, including late away victories against in-form AS Roma and Barcelona.

Furthermore, the team has scored 18 goals over that stretch, good enough for 3 per game. Real Madrid is just flying right now, even if the defense can be suspect at times. The overall form of the team is just amazing, so I’m surprised to get plus odds for the -2 AH market.

AEK is not exactly the kind of team that can contain Real Madrid. The Greek side has lost four of the last five games, shipping 13 goals. They also lack the quality up front to trouble their famous opponents and take advantage of their defensive fragilities.

It should be a comfortable win for a very confident Real Madrid squad. I expect 3+ goals for the visitors, so even if they allow one, the line offers some insurance.

RB Leipzig vs. Manchester City: Man City and Both Teams to Score (+151)

It’s funny how results change the narrative. Man City started the Premier League with seven wins in a row, and people were talking about an unbeaten season. They lost the next two, and suddenly, the team is in shambles.

The simple reality is that City have been dangerous in attack but unable to control games or contain the opposition so far this season. Good fortune masked their issues early on, but bad fortune has overexposed them more recently. This is a good team that allows too many goals, so you can expect inconsistencies.

I expect a strong showing this Wednesday against RB Leipzig for several reasons. For a start, City already lost against PSG, so a second misstep would endanger the team’s chances to qualify for the knockouts directly and avoid playoffs.

Furthermore, Man City need to deliver a response after losing two games in the row in the Premier League. Enzo Maresca and his men will be eager to stop the rot and return to winning ways.

Finally, they are simply better than a Leipzig team that seems unable to stop elite attacking units. The German side shipped four goals against Real Madrid and six against Bayern in the past few weeks alone, so Man City should be able to score.

At the same time, the English team has conceded at least a goal in six straight games, so I don’t trust their defense.

The logical choice would be to target a City win and both teams to score combo. The +151 odds available for this one make it one of the best Champions League bets today.
