Best Anytime Scorer Bets for Week 5 (With Reasoning)
Here’s the reasoning behind my anytime TD scorer picks this week:
Chase Brown (-167): Cincinnati Bengals vs. Miami Dolphins
Chase Brown has a strong opportunity to find the end zone against Miami, especially with the Bengals potentially missing their top two wide receivers, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. If either or both are sidelined, Brown could become Cincinnati’s most important offensive weapon and see an even bigger role.

The matchup also sets up well. Miami has allowed seven total touchdowns to running backs this season, including three on the ground and four through the air. The Dolphins have surrendered at least two touchdowns to running backs in three of their four games, giving Brown multiple paths to pay dirt.
Brown has averaged 14.5 rushing attempts and 5.3 receptions per game, showcasing his versatility. If Cincinnati needs him more as a receiver with its wideouts potentially unavailable, his increased involvement should only improve his chances of scoring at −167.
Brock Bowers (+140): Las Vegas Raiders vs. New England Patriots
Brock Bowers has wasted no time making his presence felt after missing the Raiders’ first two games. Despite playing in just two contests, Bowers ranks second on Las Vegas in targets with 24 and receiving yards with 202. He has also found the end zone in both games, making +140 an appealing price for another score.
New England has yet to allow a touchdown to a tight end this season, but Bowers is not being used like a typical tight end. He has emerged as the Raiders’ de facto top receiver, giving him a much larger target share than most tight ends see against the Patriots.
Ashton Jeanty is also dealing with an ankle issue after briefly leaving the Week 4 loss to Kansas City. If Jeanty is limited, Bowers could be asked to shoulder even more of the offensive workload, creating another path to the end zone at plus money.
Kyle Monangai (+100): Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers
Kyle Monangai has emerged as Chicago’s most dangerous option in the ground game, and his recent usage makes him an appealing anytime touchdown play at even money. While D’Andre Swift still leads the Bears with 69 rushing attempts, Monangai passed him in rushing yards last week, 324 to 311. Both backs have three rushing touchdowns, but Swift’s all came in Week 1.

Monangai is coming off a dominant performance in which he scored twice while handling 30 carries for 146 yards. Swift had 15 carries for 58 yards, giving Monangai a clear edge in workload.
The matchup against Green Bay only strengthens the case. The Packers are allowing 139.3 rushing yards per game and have surrendered eight touchdowns to running backs this season. They have also allowed at least one running back touchdown in every game, giving Monangai a strong opportunity to keep finding the end zone.
Brian Robinson Jr. (+220): Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons
Brian Robinson Jr. offers plenty of touchdown upside at +220, especially after seeing his role expand alongside Bijan Robinson. The two backs have combined for 451 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns over the last two weeks, with Brian handling the bulk of the work late in Atlanta’s blowout win over New Orleans. He finished that game with three touchdowns.
The game script could once again work in Brian’s favor. Baltimore will likely be without Lamar Jackson, giving Atlanta a chance to control the game if the Ravens struggle offensively. If the Falcons build a comfortable lead and begin resting starters, Brian could see additional work while Bijan gets a breather.
Brian has also recorded at least 10 carries and 50 rushing yards in three straight games. His consistent production keeps him involved, while his role in late-game situations gives him a strong chance to vulture another touchdown at plus money.
