Best NFL Player Future Props for the 2026-2027 Season

Geno Smith led the NFL in interceptions last year, throwing 17 picks in his 15 starts. Despite moving from the Raiders to the Jets, Geno is the +950 favorite at top NFL betting sites to lead the league in interceptions again this season.

There is no denying that Geno was bad last year, and he has five seasons with double-digit interceptions in his career. However, I doubt Geno will be the Jets’ starting QB for long if he plays like he did last season.

After Smith, Brock Purdy (+1000) and Trevor Lawrence (+1200) have the next-best odds. Both are entrenched as starters, but Purdy has a great run game to support him.

Lawrence, on the other hand, lost his top rusher and former college teammate Travis Etienne to free agency. He also had 12 interceptions last year, tied for the fifth-most in the NFL.

A weakened rushing attack will force Lawrence to throw the ball more, increasing his chances of throwing a pick. Jacksonville’s WR room also lacks a true WR1, which could also lead to Lawrence throwing more picks.

Another reason to back Lawrence in this wager is that he has thrown 12+ interceptions in three of his five seasons as a pro. He even led the league as a rookie with 17 picks. With that in mind, Lawrence is my pick to throw the most interceptions this season.

NFL Rushing Yards Leader: Jonathan Taylor (+600)

James Cook led all rushers last season with over 1,600 yards on the ground. Despite an impressive showing in 2025, Cook is not the favorite to lead the NFL in rushing this season.

That honor belongs to Jonathan Taylor and Derrick Henry, who are tied for the best odds at 6-1 each. Between the two veteran rushers, I think Taylor has the best chance of being the rushing king this season.

At +600, Taylor has an implied win probability of 14.29% in this season-long futures market.

Henry beat Taylor last year by 10 yards, but JT is younger and should be more able to handle another season of 300+ carries. Also, unlike Henry, JT does not have to learn a new offense this year and will not be as at risk of losing rushing attempts to his quarterback.

Lingering and preseason injuries to the Colts’ WR corps will also force the team to rely even more on Taylor to start the season. Those early rushing yards should help JT rack up the most yards on the ground this season.

If you are looking for a sleeper in this market, consider Miami’s De’Von Achane (+1500). He led the NFL last season with 5.7 YPC and cracked 1,300 rushing yards on fewer than 240 attempts. Also, he is the only star left on a depleted Dolphins offense.

NFL Receptions Leader: Trey McBride (+850)

Puka Nacua is expected to be the featured receiver in a high-octane Rams offense led by reigning MVP Matthew Stafford. Nacua was LA’s WR1 last year and led the league with 129 receptions. He is listed at +450 to be the reception king again this year.

Repeating as the reception leader is easier said than done. Since 1980, only four players have led the league in receptions in back-to-back seasons.

My top pick for this futures wager is not a receiver. Instead, I think Arizona TE Trey McBride offers the best value at +850 odds. McBride had the third-most targets (169) and second-most receptions (126) last season.

Adding to McBride’s chances is his rapport with QB Jacoby Brissett. After Brissett assumed starting QB duties last season, he targeted McBride 127 times in 12 games. Brissett only attempted 484 passes as the starter, meaning McBride accounted for over 25% of Brissett’s targets from Week 6 onward.

For reference, McBride also cleared the other Cardinals’ pass catchers by a wide margin. Michael Wilson had the second-most receptions on the team with 78. Arizona did draft RB Jeremiyah Love third overall, but an ankle injury could limit Love’s production early, leading to another season with heavy workload for McBride.

NFL Sack Leader: Trey Hendrickson (+650)

Myles Garrett broke the sack record last year, and he is listed as the +250 favorite to lead the league in sacks this season. However, a potential return of DT Aaron Donald could reduce the number of sacks available to Garrett this year.

Aidan Hutchinson is second at 5-1 odds, but a porous Lions secondary will limit the time Hutchinson has to sack QBs this year. Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson are tied for the third-best odds at 6-1, but they both play for the Texans and will cut into each other’s total sacks.

That leaves Trey Hendrickson as the only other option in the top five at +650 odds. Hendrickson moved from Cincinnati to Baltimore this offseason and should be the team’s best rusher. Baltimore was tied for the third-fewest sacks last year with 30.

The Ravens also hired Jesse Minter as their new head coach this year. The defensive-minded head coach should be able to scheme up favorable matchups for Hendrickson. Minter was the DC for the Chargers last year, and LA tied for 10th with 45 total sacks.

Hendrickson led the NFL in sacks in 2024 and has had double-digit sacks in four of the last six seasons. A potential return of DT Nnamdi Madubuike, who missed all of last season, would also make it hard for defenses to double Hendrickson.

Josh Allen to Record 10+ Rushing TDs

Lucky Rebel has over half a dozen players favored to hit 10+ rushing TDs this season. The one that stands out the most is Buffalo QB Josh Allen at -250 odds.

Allen has been one of the most prolific running QBs in NFL history. He led all QBs with 14 rushing TDs last season, the third-most of any player. Only Jonathan Taylor (18) and Derrick Henry (16) had more rushing touchdowns.

His success was not a one-off, either. Allen has 79 rushing TDs since he entered the league in 2018, the second-most of any player over that span. He has had 12+ rushing TDs in each of the last three seasons.

Even the emergence of RB James Cook was not enough to slow down Allen’s rushing TDs. Buffalo added WR DJ Moore this offseason, but improving the team’s passing attack should only open up more running lanes for Allen when he decides to scramble.

The Bills promoted OC Joe Brady to head coach. Allen is already familiar with Brady’s system and should hit the ground running, literally, this season.

Despite his high number of rushing attempts, Allen has been remarkably durable so far in the NFL. Staying healthy for the majority of the season will be key for any player hoping to hit double-digit rushing scores this year.
