Best WNBA Predictions Today (With Reasoning), June 22

There are important things to know before betting on the WNBA. Fortunately, if you can’t do your own research, you can see exactly how we arrived at each of our WNBA picks today and the key factors that influenced our analysis.

Toronto Tempo vs. Atlanta Dream (-13.5) (-108)

Toronto (8-8) enters this matchup after an impressive 101-97 road win over Connecticut. Marina Mabrey carried the offense with 37 points, and the Tempo closed the game on a dominant 37-23 fourth quarter run. While that comeback was encouraging, Toronto continues to deal with significant injury concerns. Brittney Sykes and Kiki Rice, two of the team’s top three scorers, remain sidelined, leaving the Tempo short-handed against one of the WNBA’s hottest teams.

Atlanta (11-4) has been rolling, winning three straight games and coming off a 113-96 victory over Indiana. Rhyne Howard led the way with 24 points, but what stands out most is the balance throughout the lineup. All five Dream starters scored at least 12 points as Atlanta set a franchise record for points in a game.

This looks like a difficult spot for Toronto at WNBA betting sites. The Tempo own the league’s worst defense and now face an Atlanta offense that is playing with confidence and scoring at an elite level. Even after Toronto’s win last time out, matching Atlanta’s firepower for four quarters feels unlikely.

With the Dream in excellent form and holding clear advantages on both ends of the floor, laying the points is the preferred play. Atlanta should have enough offense to pull away and cover the 13.5-point spread at home.

The Bet
Atlanta Dream -13.5
Lucky Rebel
-108

Dallas Wings (-10) vs. Seattle Storm (-108)

Dallas (10-6) heads to Seattle with plenty of momentum after pulling off one of the more impressive comebacks of the season. The Wings erased a 15-point deficit in a 93-92 win over Chicago, finishing the game with a dominant 36-21 fourth quarter. Jessica Shepard led the charge with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Paige Bueckers continued her outstanding campaign with 19 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds.

Seattle (3-14) enters this matchup trending in the opposite direction. The Storm have now lost ten straight games following a 93-73 defeat in Phoenix. Natisha Hiedeman scored 20 points in the loss, but the offense struggled once again as Seattle shot just 36% from the floor and connected on only eight of 28 attempts from beyond the arc.

The gap between these teams is hard to ignore right now. Dallas is playing with confidence and has multiple players capable of taking over stretches of a game, while Seattle continues to search for answers on both ends of the court. With the Storm stuck in a prolonged slump, the Wings are well positioned to take control early and create enough separation to cover the double-digit number on the road.

The Bet
Dallas Wings -10
Lucky Rebel
-108
