Super Bowl Halftime Show Headliner Odds and Pick

HEADLINER ODDS
Justin Bieber +200
Harry Styles +200
Miley Cyrus +300
Ariana Grande +600
Sabrina Carpenter +600
Lil Wayne +600
Cardi B +600
Taylor Swift +600
Drake +800
BlackPink +900

Justin Bieber (+200) and Harry Styles (+200) are the two co-favorites in the Super Bowl halftime headliner odds, carrying implied probabilities of 33.3% each, while Cyrus sits at 25%. That puts Miley firmly among the market leaders while offering a more attractive price.

Bieber was a logical candidate to headline the Super Bowl, given his enormous global profile and extensive catalog of hits. However, his controversial World Cup performance has changed the conversation.

The performance generated significant criticism and questions about his current live-show form, which could hurt his chances of landing one of the NFL’s biggest entertainment slots. At +200, there is also little room for that uncertainty to be reflected in the price.

Harry Styles is another co-favorite at +200, but I don’t see the same compelling case for him at that number. While Styles has the star power and catalog to headline, there are other artists whose current musical momentum and timing make more sense for the halftime show.

There is also legitimate buzz behind Cyrus as a potential headliner. She has been linked to the Super Bowl halftime show for years, and she addressed the possibility directly in a March interview with Variety.

Cyrus said the event initially felt like “too much pressure” but explained that she could see herself doing it if she could approach the performance as a journey through her discography and different eras. Also, it makes so much sense for her to accept the headlining gig and dedicate her performance as a tribute to her mentor Dolly Parton.

That speculation has become even more interesting with Cyrus entering a completely new musical era. She is now using MILEY professionally and just released her 10th studio album, Bass Persuades, on September 18.

The project marks a fresh chapter for the singer, with new music arriving alongside a broader rebrand. She has also announced two October shows at the Hollywood Bowl, her first major U.S. performances in years, giving her a natural runway toward a potential Super Bowl appearance.

The Super Bowl would be a perfect platform to introduce this new era while allowing Cyrus to showcase the biggest songs from throughout her career. At +300, Miley Cyrus is the headliner wager to target for one of the best 2027 Super Bowl halftime show prop bets.

If you insist on betting on Bieber or Styles, don’t go after this market. They are both non-Americans, and the odds for a performer outside of the US to headline are +300. This is the much better bet, as it covers both combined and other options at a higher price than their individual odds.

Super Bowl Halftime Show Viewership Odds and Pick

    • Over 130.5 (-115)
    • Under 130.5 (-125)

In what should be a close call, I lean to the Over 130.5 million viewers for one of the best Super Bowl halftime Show prop bets. Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 halftime show averaged a massive 133.5 million viewers, setting the record for the most-watched Super Bowl halftime performance ever. That followed Usher’s 129.3 million in 2024, meaning the halftime audience has been right around this number in back-to-back years.

The longer-term history is also important. Michael Jackson’s legendary 1993 halftime performance drew 133.4 million viewers, while Kendrick’s 133.5 million narrowly surpassed that mark. Bad Bunny’s 2026 performance, meanwhile, averaged 128.2 million, which was still the fourth-highest halftime audience on record.

Halftime Show Viewers
Kendrick Lamar, 2025 133.5M
Michael Jackson, 1993 133.4M
Usher, 2024 129.3M
Bad Bunny, 2026 128.2M

That makes 130.5 million a very interesting line. Three of the four most-watched Super Bowl halftime shows in history are sitting within roughly five million viewers of the number, and Kendrick and Michael Jackson both cleared it.

The biggest argument for the Over is the recent consistency at the top. Usher reached 129.3 million in 2024, Kendrick jumped to 133.5 million in 2025, and even Bad Bunny’s 128.2 million in 2026 came relatively close despite falling short.

That’s important because 130.5 million isn’t asking Cyrus to become the biggest halftime act in history. She needs to get just above a threshold that Usher came within 1.2 million of and Bad Bunny came within 2.3 million of. If Cyrus isn’t performing, then the other two rumored performers, Styles and Bieber, could eclipse 130.5 million, especially Styles.

If Miley is indeed the act, I think the combination of her cross-generational recognition, enormous catalog, new music, and renewed attention around her rebrand gives the Over a reasonable path at 130.5 million.

Super Bowl Halftime Artist Ethnicity Odds and Pick

    • USA (-500)
    • Other Country (+300)

Considering I’ve locked in Cyrus for my halftime performer prop bet, naturally the USA has to be my recommendation for this wager. However, the value isn’t particularly enticing at -500 odds.

The history of Super Bowl halftime headliners provides a strong American presence, although the NFL has increasingly featured international stars. Recent U.S. headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Usher, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, and Justin Timberlake.

There have also been several notable international acts. Rihanna, who was born in Barbados, headlined in 2023, while Colombian singer Shakira shared the 2020 halftime stage with American Jennifer Lopez.

Bad Bunny provided the most recent example of the NFL looking outside the United States. The Puerto Rican superstar headlined Super Bowl LX in 2026, following Lamar’s 2025 performance. The NFL described Bad Bunny as a global artist representing Puerto Rican culture and emphasized his ability to bridge languages and audiences.

Styles is British while Bieber is Canadian, so if organizers select one of the two favorites, then a foreign artist cashes this bet. However, I’m confident in this being Miley’s halftime show, so as a result, the USA is the pick. I just don’t see much value in laying -500 odds, though.
